Dana White’s Contender Series 39 Betting Analysis

In the world of the UFC, we have become accustomed to Saturday night fights, but for the next little while, we need to add Tuesday’s to the calendar, too. We are in Season 5 of Dana White’s Contender Series, where we see up-and-coming fighters go head-to-head for a shot at a spot in the UFC. Whether they can stay there once they get in remains to be seen, but for now, it’s all about winning and moving one step closer to the goal of a UFC roster spot. This Tuesday night will see Week 3 of the tournament, with 6 fights on the card. Let’s take a closer look inside each one so you can get all set to bet against their MMA odds.

MMA Betting Preview for Contender Series: Season 5, Week 3

Jasmine Jasudavicius Vs Julia Polastri

The evening begins with the women stepping into the octagon for a pretty evenly matched Flyweight bout. Jasudavicius fights out of Canada and comes into this one with a 5-1 career mark, with 3 of her wins coming inside the distance. Polastri is 8-2 overall and is on a run that has seen her win each of her last 6 fights, with 4 going all the way. I like Polastri with the decision win here.

Jack Della Maddalena Vs Ange Loosa

Next up is a Welterweight bout between a pair of very good fighters who have been tough to beat. Maddalena started his pro career with back-to-back losses, but he has since reeled off 9 straight wins, 8 of which came inside the distance. Loosa won the first 6 fights of his pro career, and then bounced back with a win after taking his first loss. Maddalena looks too good here, so I am going with the KO win.

Lucasz Brzeski Vs Dylan Potter

The big boys are up next for a Heavyweight bout that is probably not going to go the distance. Brzesi is 8-1-1 overall and on a run that has seen him go unbeaten in his last 6 fights (5-0-1). At 10-5, Potter has been a little up and down in his pro career, but he seems to be in better form right now, winning 4 of his last 5 fights. Brzesi looks to be a little step up in class, which is why I have him for the KO win.
