Titan FC 66 Expert Analysis – MMA Betting

Written by on December 16, 2020

After this weekend, we won’t see much from the world of MMA until the new year. There are still a couple of big events to come, including Titan FC 66, which is set to go in Miami on Thursday night. There are a ton of fights on the main card, so let’s jump right in and cover them all and then you can go ahead to place your bets against their MMA odds.

Titan FC 66 Betting Preview | MMA Analysis

Gustavo Villamil Vs Keaneo Moyer

The Flyweights are in first, with a fight that features a couple of guys who are still very much in the early stages of their pro careers. Villamil has won both his fights with Titan FC, winning both early with a rear naked choke hold. Keaneo opened his pro career with a UD win and will now move to Titan FC for the first time. I am taking Villamil to win by submission.

Royberth Echeverria Vs Jon Arce

It’s another flyweight up next, again with newly turned pros. Echeverria looked good in his lone pro fight, winning by KO in the opening round. Arce started his career well with a win, but he is looking to bounce back after a UD loss the last time out. I think this one will go the way of Echeverria by decision.

Denzel Freeman Vs Terrance Hodges

Denzel Freeman comes into this Light Heavyweight bout looking to maintain is unbeaten professional record. After a split decision win in his last fight, Freeman is now 2-0 and looks like a good bet against Hodges, who comes in at 2-7 after losing back to back fights. I like Freeman to get the KO win.

Dilano Taylor Vs Michael Cora

It’s a welterweight battle that’s up next and a fight that looks set to end early. Dilano Taylor has bounced back nicely from his lone loss at pro to win 2 in a row. Michael Cora broke out of a 3-fight losing slump to get a win last time out. I think he gets back to losing here, though, as I have Taylor by KO.

Christian Ynastrilla Vs Josh Ricci

The flyweights are up next for a bout featuring a pair of fighters looking for a bounce back win. Ynastrilla is 6-2 in his pro career, but he saw a 3-fight win streak with a KO loss last time out. Ricci is heading in the wrong direction after losing 3 of his last 4. I think Ynastrilla wins this one by decision.

Ryan Kuse Vs Harrison Melendez

It’s a featherweight bout next with a pair of fighters in very opposite runs of form. Kuse is off to a fast start in his pro career, winning both fights inside the distance. Things are not so great for Melendez, who has lost 5 of his last 6 fights. I think Kuse finishes this one quickly.

Juan Puerta Vs Joe Penafiel

Another flyweight bout is next, with an MMA veteran going against an up and comer. Juan Puerta is 20-6 in his career and comes into this one on a 9-fight winning streak. Penafiel is 5-1 in his career and is making his first start at Titan FC. This looks like a great fight, but I have Puerta winning it by decision.

Kayla Harrison Vs Jozette Cotton

This ladies featherweight bout is listed as the co-main event of the night. Harrison is a force to be reckoned with, putting together an 8-0 record in her pro career. Cotton is making the move to Titan FC and has been a little up and down, going 2-2 in her last 4 fights. I think Harrison ends this one quickly with the KO.

Bruno Assis Vs Jeremie Holloway

The main event is a welterweight bout that promises to be explosive. Assis really needs a win here, as he has now lost 3 of his last 4. Holloway is coming off a loss, but his last fight at Titan FC was a split decision win. I think he has an easier time of it in this one.
