UFC Betting Preview for the Upcoming 284, 285, and 286 Events

The new year is still in its infancy, which means that there is an awful lot to look forward to in the world of MMA. We do our very best to make sure that we cover as many of the big events as possible across several different organizations, but we also know that it is the UFC that is the king of them all. There are new bouts every single weekend, but while the Fight Nights are great, it is the numbered events that deliver the very biggest bouts. The next 3 on the schedule are UFC 284, 285, and 286. Some of these are basically still in the making, but there are some details for each that we can share, so can start planning your bets against the UFC Odds.

What Do We Know About the Next Big UFC Events: 284, 285, and 286

UFC 284 – February 11

With this one actually now less than 2 weeks away, we know a lot about the main card, although that still has the potential to change due to late injury or illness. Right now, there are 5 fights on the main card, which includes a pair of title fights.

Prior to the big bouts, we have 3 very good matchups, which are:

  • Randy Brown Vs Jack Della Maddalena
  • Jimmy Crute Vs Alonzo Menifield
  • Justin Tafa Vs Parker Porter

Of course, it is the title fights that will draw most of the attention. The first of those is for the Interim Fetaherweight Championship, with Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett set to go head-to-head,

The main event is for the Lightweight Championship, where Islam Makhachev will defend his title against Alexander Volkanovski.

UFC 285 – March 4

This is another huge one, with a pair of title fights in as the co-main event. All told, there will be 5 fights on the main card, with the 3 bouts prior to the big ones currently listed as:

  • Geoff Neal Vs Shavkat Rakhimonov
  • Derek Brunson Vs Dricus Du Plessis
  • Viviane Araujo Vs Amanda Ribas

The first of the two title fights will see the ladies step into the octagon in a battle for the Flyweight Championship. It will be Valentina Shevchenko looking to defend her belt against Alex Grasso.

The main event of the night is an absolute beauty, with Jon Jones and Cyril Gane set to battle it out for the Vacant Heavyweight Championship.

UFC 286 – March 18

The good news is that we don’t have to wait too long between the end of UFC 285 and the start of UFC 286, with this one being another event that is sure to get fight fans fired up. There is just the one title fight on the card here, but it’s a great one. All told, there are 5 fights set to go on the main card at UFC 286.

The lineup prior to the main event is currently as follows:

  • Jack Shore Vs Makwan Amirkhani
  • Gunnar Nelson Vs Daniel Rodriguez
  • Marvin Vettori Vs Roman Dolidze
  • Justin Gaethje Vs Rafael Fiziev

This event closes out with a battle for the UFC Welterweight Championship. Leon Edwards comes in as the defending champion, but he is going to have his hands full with Kamaru Usman in what should be a fantastic fight.
