With the 2020 Pocono 350 being the second half of back-to-back NASCAR Cup Series races, this coming weekend, it’s time to take a look at the handful of drivers that look like they’ll have the best chances of finding their way into the winner’s circle on Sunday, June 28 when the checkered flag drops at 4:00 PM ET. Let’s see how the NASCAR odds will be for the Pocono 350.
NASCAR Pocono 350 Completes Duo of Weekend NASCAR Cup Races
NASCAR’s top drivers will compete in the Pocono Organics 325 on Saturday June 27, followed by the Pocono 350 on Sunday June 28. If their cars are in working order after Saturday’s race, NASCAR Has instructed teams to use the same car on Sunday. These two races will mark he 10th and 11th races since May 17 when the 2020 season restarted at Darlington. Now, let’s find out who’s looking good for Sunday’s Pocono 350.

No. 5 Alex Bowman
Bowman is eighth in the standings with four Top 10 finishes, a pair of Top-5 finishes and a win in California on March 1. I know Bowman has just one Top-10 finish and one Top-5 finish in eight career starts at Pocono, but Bowman has four Top-20 finishes in his last five races and two Top-10 finishes among them. I think Bowman could challenge as something of a longshot on Sunday.
No. 4 Erik Jones
Jones finished fifth at Talladega last weekend and fifth at Bristol to close out May and although he recorded a trio finishes in the 20s in between those races, Jones did finish third at Pocono a year ago. In six career starts at Pocono, Jones has a stellar five, Top-10 finishes and four Top-5 finishes. Along with Bowman, I like Jones’ longshot potential on Sunday!
No. 3 Joey Logano
Currently second in the NASCAR standings, Logano has recorded six Top-10 finishes and three Top-5 finishes in 13 starts while winning a pair of races at Las Vegas and Phoenix. Sure, the 2018 NASCAR champ has been inside the Top 5 just once in his last five races and comes into this weekend off a humbling 17th place finish at Talladega, but Logano has eight Top-10 finishes, four Top—5 finishes and one win in 22 appearances at Pocono. Logano has two Top-10 finishes in his last four races at the famed track, including his seventh place finish in this race a year ago. Logano’s only win at Pocono came back in 2012, so I believe he’s definitely ‘due’ for a win!
No. 2 Chase Elliott
Currently, an encouraging fourth in the NASCAR standings after 13 starts, Elliott has recorded eight Top-10 finishes, six Top-5 finishes and a win at Charlotte. In eight career starts at Pocono, Elliott has recorded an impressive six Top-10 finishes and a pair of Top-5 finishes. While Elliott finished a disappointing 37t the last time he took to the track at Pocono, he does have a pair of fourth place finishes, including in last year’s Pocono 400.
No. 1 Ryan Blaney
Blaney is the only driver I picked to finish inside the Top 5 in both, Saturday’s Pocono 325 and this event the following day. In 13 starts this season, Blaney is third in the NASCAR standings with seven Top-10 finishes and an identical seven Top-5 finishes. Not only that, but Blaney has recorded four straight Top-5 finishes including his thrilling win at Talladega last weekend. I also like Blaney’s value because he has recorded four Top-10 finishes, one Top-5 finish and a win in the 2017 Pocono 400 in eight career starts at the fabled race track. Pocono, Blaney is my No. 4 pick to win on Saturday, but my top pick to win the Pocono 350!
