With the start of the NBA Playoffs, the betting public is always looking to make a few bets. We’ve already seen a few surprising results in these playoffs, the odds have changed some since the opening night of the postseason. Let’s take a look at the most updated NBA Conference Championship odds to win the Eastern and Western Conference.
Up to Date NBA Conference Championship Betting Odds
Western Conference
- Los Angeles Lakers +175
Although the series is tied 1-1, the Lakers are still the favorite to win the West as a #7 seed. They earned this seed because LeBron James and Anthony Davis missed numerous games due to injury. If James and Davis are healthy, and the Lakers continue to defend at a high level, they’ll be tough to beat.
- Utah Jazz +250
Even though they’re down 1-0 to the #8-seeded Memphis Grizzlies, the Jazz are still one of the top picks to win the West. Donovan Mitchell should be ready to go in Game 2, and that will be a huge boost for the Jazz.
- Dallas Mavericks +700
After taking a 2-0 lead over the Clippers, the Mavericks‘ odds have improved greatly. Luka Doncic has shown that he can be a force in the playoffs. Rick Carlisle has a lot of playoff experience, and he knows what it takes to win a title.
- Los Angeles Clippers +700
Down 0-2, the oddsmakers have made huge changes to the Clippers‘ odds. We’ll see if Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have what it takes to climb back from a 2-0 deficit.
- Phoenix Suns +900
The oddsmakers don’t have a lot of faith in the Suns even before. Although they were one of the top teams throughout the season, Chris Paul is injured, and they just don’t think that even when fully healthy, that the Suns can beat the Lakers.
- Portland Trail Blazers +1800
Going into the series, Portland wasn’t favored over Denver, now they are. If Damian Lillard can continue to play at such a high level, Denver could be in trouble.
- Denver Nuggets +2500
Nikola Jokic is going to have to carry the Nuggets. He’ll need some help from Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr., though.
- Memphis Grizzlies +4000
Even though they won Game 1, they’ll need a lot of things to go their way to beat the Jazz in the series.
Eastern Conference
- Brooklyn Nets -110
Until someone proves that they can stop the combination of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irvin, the Nets are going to be the favorites to win the East.
- Milwaukee Bucks +280
Giannis Antetokounmpo now has a stronger supporting cast. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday look like they’re primed for a great playoff run.
- Philadelphia 76ers +300
If Tobias Harris can continue to play at a high level, and Joel Embiid can stay healthy, the Sixers can play with anyone in the East. Ben Simmons is one of the league’s top defenders, so he’ll be asked to slow down some of the top players in the game.
- Atlanta Hawks +4000
Trae Young showed the world what he’s made of in Game 1. If he continues to play well for the Hawks, they could sneak uphttps://www.mybookie.ag/sportsbook/nba/new-york-knicks/ on some people.
- New York Knicks +6600
Julius Randle will need to play better than he did in Game 1. The Knicks don’t have a lot of firepower, but they sure can defend.
- Miami Heat +8000
Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler seemed to have disappeared in the first two games of the series. If they don’t show up soon, Milwaukee could end their hopes of making it to their second straight NBA Finals.
- Washington Wizards +10000
When you have Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook, there’s always a chance, albeit a slim one.
- Boston Celtics +12500
Milwaukee has thoroughly dominated the Celtics in the first two games of the series. Without Jaylen Brown, they look lost. Jayson Tatum can only do so much.
