Atlanta At Memphis Betting Spread, Pick & TV Info

Written by on March 10, 2017

There are still a lot of games to be played in the NBA season, but we are far enough into proceedings to get a good idea of what we can expect from most of the teams in the league. There are a couple of teams, though, that are still a little tough to figure out. One of those teams would be the Atlanta Hawks, a group that go through stretches where they look unbeatable, only to follow that up with a run of games where they look like one of the worst teams in the league. While they still have time to figure things out they are going to need to get started soon of they don’t want to start the playoffs on the road against one of the best teams in the country. The same rules apply to the Memphis Grizzlies, as they are starting to go on a slide that has seen them drop down the standings in the Western Conference. These are a pair of teams in dire need of a turnaround win. Find the updated NBA betting odds here.

In Depth Analysis On The Hawks At Grizzlies Betting Spread, Pick & TV Info

Why bet on the Atlanta Hawks

This will be the second game in as many nights for the Atlanta Hawks (35-29), as they will have a home date with the Toronto Raptors on Friday before making the short road trip to Memphis. The Hawks are 3 games above .500 at home, as well as on the road, but as mentioned at the start of this piece, they are a team that are at times infuriating to watch. There is no denying that this is a talented bunch of players, but they just don’t seem to be able to put it all together often or consistently enough in order to seriously challenge. This will be their first meeting with the Grizzlies this season, but it’s worth noting that Atlanta Hawks won both games last season.

Why bet on the Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies (36-29) were having themselves a decent little season up until the past week or two, and they will be coming into this game on a 4-game losing skid that has seen them fall all the way down to the #7 spot in the West. The good news is that things are tight in the 4 though 7 seeds, so it would only take a nice little run of games to get this team back up into a more palatable position. The Grizzlies had been particularly solid on home court this season, but they need to shake of back to back losses in their own building, including one to the awful Brooklyn Nets, if they are to get back to winning ways here.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

These are a pair of teams that are not playing very well right now, making this one a tough game to call. I’m giving the edge to the home court Grizzlies, especially as this will be the second game in as many nights for Atlanta.
