The problem that the Celtics have is that they have not been able to take advantage of the slips suffered by the Cavs. The gap would certainly be a good deal tighter if Boston had not just gone 5-5 in its last 10 games. That is not the sort of record that you can put together if you have any shot at winning the conference. Boston lost their meeting to the Nuggets earlier this season, but prior to that, they had taken down Denver in each of the 4 previous meetings. The Celtics should be the favorites again here, but their current form will not make this one a slam dunk.
