Why Bet on Boston?

This will be the fourth game of a five-game road trip so the Celtics might be a bit out of gas. They looked on fumes Sunday in a 109-106. To be fair, the C’s were without two starters in Al Horford and Avery Bradley. It’s not clear if they will play here. The Celtics lost to the Warrior early this season, 104-88. The Warriors took control of the game during the fourth quarter when they outscored the C’s 31-9. Thomas led the Celtics with 18 points while Bradley added a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Warriors were led by Klay Thompson and his 28 points while Kevin Durant added 23 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Draymond Green added 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Last year, the Celtics won in Oakland 109-106, ending the Warriors’ NBA-record 54-game home winning streak. Steph Curry missed a long 3-pointer to tie it with 5.3 seconds left. Curry is 4 steals shy of 1,000 career. He would join Chris Mullin (1,360) as the only Warriors in franchise history to record 1,000 or more steals with the team. Green is 6 blocks shy of 400 career and 9 away from tying Andrew Bogut (403) for 10th place on the Warriors’ all-time career leaders list for blocked shots.
