A win vs Utah would seriously help the Warriors in their 73 win quest.

Utah vs Golden State NBA Betting Guide

Written by on March 9, 2016

After losing to the awful Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday and following that up with a near-collapse win over Milwaukee on Monday, it’s quite possible that the Golden State Warriors could be ripe for another pro hoops odds upset at the hands of the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night right? Um…no…and here’s why!

How to Bet the Utah Jazz vs. Golden State Warriors NBA Odds & TV Info

When: Wednesday March 9, 10:30 PM ET Where: Oracle Arena, Oakland, California TV: ROOT, CSN Radio: KNBR 680 AM TV Stream: CSNBayArea NBA Odds: TBA

Why Bet the Utah Jazz

The Jazz (29-33 SU, 29-33 ATS) beat New Orleans 106-94 on Saturday to snap a five-game losing streak, but the fact of the matter is that the Jazz aren’t really playing well right now, having lost seven of their last 10 games, including the aforementioned five contests. Making matters worse is the fact that Utah is barely putting up more points per game (97.9) than they are allowing this season (97.2). Last but not least, Utah’s 10-21 ATS road mark isn’t very encouraging.

Why Bet the Golden State Warriors

Let me get right to the point by saying that I genuinely believe that Golden State’s (56-6 SU, 34-26 ATS) surprising loss to L.A. was the worst thing that could happen to their next 10 opponents or so. Sure, the Dubs almost gave a game away on Monday night by barely getting past Orlando in its 119-113 win as a 16-point home favorite, but I believe that will just make the Warriors play that much harder in this contest.

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction

Golden State has won three straight against the Jazz, including their 103-85 home win as a 14-point favorite on December 23. Utah has gone 1-5 ATS in its last half-dozen games against their Western Conference counterparts and a dismal 1-7 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Jazz are also 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings against Steph Curry and company and a winless 0-4 ATS in their last four road games against Golden State. The Dubs get the win to narrowly cover the spread. My final score prediction: Golden State 108 Utah 95
