If the 76ers don’t win 41 games this coming season, I’m going to just stop trusting the process…it’s that simple. Having said that, I fully believe Philly will get to .500 in 2017-18 to challenge for a playoff spot in the weak Eastern Conference after going 28-54 last season. The Sixers made some wise off season additions by signing veteran sniper J.J. Redick and veteran big man Amir Johnson and they have some of the best young talent in high draft picks like Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Jahlil Okafor, Dario Saric and now, gifted point guard Markelle Fultz. Milwaukee Bucks 44.5 Wins

Giannis Antetokounmpo is now a true superstar (24.8 ppg, 9.5 rpg) and oft-injured forward Jabari Parker will be back on the floor next season after suffering his second torn ACL, so that alone should make the Bucks better than they were last season when they went 42-40. Milwaukee also has a pair of wonderful young players in combo guard Malcolm Brogdon and 7-1 forward Thon Maker and have one of the best two-way players in the NBA in underrated shooting guard Khris Middleton. The Bucks drafted a pair of players in stretch four, D.J. Wilson and ‘3 and D’ swingman Sterling Brown that could contribute in some capacity right away as rookies this coming season. Minnesota Timberwolves 45.5 Wins

The T-Wolves didn’t do nearly as good as many thought they would in their first season under task-master Tom Thibodeau in going 31-51 last season, but they should be much improved after adding veteran shooting guard Jimmy Butler, all-star point guard Jeff Teague, power forward Taj Gibson and sweet-shooting, three-time Sixth Man of the Year, Jamal Crawford. I know a 15-win improvement sounds like a lot, but right now, I’m thinking Minnesota should be able to reach 46 victories as long as they stay healthy. Los Angeles Lakers 32.5 Wins

The Lakers may have gone 26-56 last season, but things will be a lot different for L.A. in the near future with Magic Johnson now in charge. The proud franchise drafted point guard Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in the draft and his pass-first mentality should make everyone else on the roster better this coming season. I also love the addition of Villanova shooting guard Josh Hart with the 30th overall pick and combo guard P.J. Dozier out of South Carolina. The Lakers also traded for all-star center Brook Lopez and signed former Detroit Pistons shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency.
