The 2017-18 NBA regular season is less than a month old, so here is a pretty good look at many of the special NBA props and betting odds you may still be able to wager on, many of them with a great value right now but to cash in late May/June, don’t let this opportunity go. Rookie of the Year NBA Props

  • Ben Simmons: -300
  • Lonzo Ball: +700
  • Dennis Smith: +1000
  • Jayson Tatum: +1200
  • Lauri Markkanen: +1200
  • De’Aaron Fox: +1800
  • John Collins: +2500
Right now, this award is undeniably Ben Simmons’ to lose. The Philadelphia 76ers rookie is averaging a phenomenal 18.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game and is just scratching the surface of his vast potential as the first 6—foot-9-inch point guard the league has seen since Magic Johnson.

Big Three Scoring NBA Props/Odds

Golden State Warriors – Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson

Curry, Durant, and Thompson all averaged at least 22 points per game last season while averaging a combined 72.7 points per game in their first year together. I’m thinking they’ll get better as a unit in 2017-18.

Oklahoma City Thunder – Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony

Westbrook averaged 31.6 points, 10.7 boards and 10.4 assists per game last season, but right now, Anthony is putting up a team-high 22.9 points per game while Westbrook and George both check in at 19.6 points per contest. Some sportsbooks have an Over/Under scoring total for the trio at 74.0 points per game and it doesn’t look like they’ll come close to topping that figure.

Minnesota Timberwolves – Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Andrew Wiggins

Towns is averaging 21.4 points per contest right now with Wiggins checking in at 19.5 points per game and Butler contributing 17.3 points per contest. Apparently, a lot of folks forgot about Jeff Teague (13.1 ppg) and Jamal Crawford (10.6 ppg) taking some of the scorings away from their teammates.

The Greek Freak is currently leading the league in scoring, but if he keeps shooting so much, there’s no way he’ll crack the top 15 in assists, although he is 23rd right Anthony t now(5.3 apg) and 12th in rebounding (10.6 rpg) while also ranking tied for 17th in steals and tied for 34th in blocks per game.

DeMarcus Cousins Number of Technical Fouls for 2017-18 Regular Season

I’m going to say that Cousins manages to easily stay under the 15-tech limit, although he has gone over this figure four times in his nine-year career, including last season when he picked up a career-high tying 17. Pick: Under

Blake Griffin Number of Games Played for 2017-18 Regular Season

In seven seasons in the NBA, Griffin has managed to play more than 68.5 games just three times and he hasn’t topped this total in each of the last three seasons. However, with Chris Paul gone and griffin being the unequivocal leader, I’m going to say that he somehow, some way, manages to top his O/U total. Pick: Over
