Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (Dec. 26th – Dec. 29th)

Written by on December 26, 2016

The holiday season is always a busy time in sports, as the major professional leagues that are in action at this time of the year seem intent on delivering as many games as possible. The NBA delivered a cracker on Christmas Day, as the game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors, which the Cavs won by a single point in OT, was an instant classic. It’s going to be a tough act to follow, but there are several games on the schedule this coming week that might just have a shot at delivering the goods. Let’s look at some of the best betting games of the week in the NBA.

Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (Dec. 26th – Dec. 29th)

Denver Nuggets at LA Clippers – Monday December 26

While there are sure to be plenty of you out there who see this one as being a bit of a mismatch, I’m not so convinced that is what it will be. The Los Angeles Clippers have not looked as confident as they did at the start of the season with Blake Griffin in the line-up, and you have a Denver Nuggets team that is looking to get back on the right side of the playoff line. These two teams can score points, and I think this will be close from start to finish.

Memphis Grizzlies at Boston Celtics – Tuesday December 27

It a West versus East battle between two teams who are occupying very similar positions in their respective conferences. The Grizzlies are 5th in the West with a 20-12 record, while the Celtics are 3rd in the East with an 18-13 record. The Celtics play an open, offensive style of ball, and they will need to contend with a Grizzlies team that is very hard to break down. It’s contrasting styles that should make for an intriguing match-up.

Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors – Wednesday December 28

The Toronto Raptors have been nipping at the heels of the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference all season long, thanks in large part to an impressive 10-3 road record. That winning record will be put to the test in a very big way on Wednesday night when they head west to face a Golden State Warriors team that is sure to still be smarting after their OT loss to the Cavaliers on Christmas Day. The Warriors are setting a torrid pace in the Western Conference once again, and are 12-2 at home on the season.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies – Thursday December 29

Heading into this week, there is only a half game separating these two teams in the Western Conference. You can bet that the Thunder will be looking to leap frog their rivals, and a win here could certainly help them do just that. This looks like being a tough week for the Grizzlies, and they have the potential to lose some ground in the conference race if they have a bad week. Both teams are coming in on positive winning streaks, so look for this to be an entertaining one.
