Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (Feb. 27th – March 2nd)

Written by on February 27, 2017

As we do at the start of every new week, we are going to look ahead at the NBA schedule over the next few days to see if we can identify some games that have the potential to be great watching and wagering options. Given the stage of the season we are now at, the number of games that are truly meaningful is on the rise. The top spot in each conference appears to be locked down, barring a major miracle of some kind, but the battles for rankings and playoff spots looks as though they are going down to the wire. Without further ado, let’s get a look at the NBA betting odds and games which we believe will be among the best this week.

Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (Feb. 27th – March 2nd)

Atlanta Hawks at Boston Celtics – Monday

While it looks as though the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to do just enough to win the East, the Boston Celtics are doing all that they can to keep things interesting. Right now, they are sitting three games back of the top spot, and have reeled off 7 wins in their last 10 games. Monday night will see them go against an Atlanta Hawks team that can best be considered a Jekyll and Hyde squad. They have been stunningly inconsistent all year, going on long winning runs followed by bouts of futility. They are in a slump right now, but are always dangerous.

Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City Thunder – Tuesday

The top 3 teams in the West have opened up a bit of a gap over the chasing pack, but things are tight in the 4 through 7 spot, with just 3 games separating the Utah Jazz from the Oklahoma City Thunder. OKC will have a chance to narrow that gap and perhaps even move up a spot or two in the process off they can come up with the win on Tuesday night. Both teams are on a good run right now, as they are both coming into the new week on 3-game winning streaks.

Washington Wizards at Toronto Raptors – Wednesday

We briefly touched on the race at the top in the East, with the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards both right in the mix. Both teams sit 3 games back of Boston for the #2 seed, but it is the Raptors who appear to be the team rounding into form. They come into this week on a modest 3-game winning streak, while the Wizards have now lost back to back games to open the door for Toronto to move into the #3 position and perhaps put some more pressure on the Celtics. This will be the first game of a home and home series between these two.

Golden State Warriors at Chicago Bulls – Thursday

We are a good portion of the way through the season now, but are still waiting for the Warriors to see their losses go into the double digits. They once again look like the team to beat in the NBA, but they will have a tough one on their hands on Thursday night when they head to Chicago to face a suddenly hot Bulls team. Chicago are winners of 4-straight, including yet another victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers last week. The Dubs will not be taking this one for granted.
