Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (March 6th – 10th)

Written by on March 6, 2017

It’s another Monday, and the start of another week of NBA betting lines action. While it has looked as though the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers were going to easily win their respective conferences, things have started to tighten up a little at the top. Home court advantage throughout the playoffs is a huge prize, and there are a couple of teams who look set to make a challenge for each of the conference titles. It’s going to be interesting to see how those standings look at the end of this week. With that in mind, let’s look at the top games on the NBA calendar this coming week.

Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (March 6th – 10th)

Houston Rockets at San Antonio Spurs – Monday

The Spurs are coming into this week on a 7-game winning streak that has allowed them to close the gap between them and the Golden State Warriors to just 2.5 games. It will be a tough start to the week for the Spurs, though, as they will have to get it rolling with a visit from the Houston Rockets, who are currently occupying the #3 seed in the West. If the Spurs are serious about chasing down the Warriors, these are the types of games that they need to win.

Portland Trail Blazers at Oklahoma City Thunder – Tuesday

Not all of the excitement is happening at the top of each conference, as there are some great playoff battles going on in the lower seed spots, too. The Oklahoma City Thunder look quite safe in their #7 seed, but the battle for the 8th and final spot in the West is heating up quite nicely. The Portland Trail Blazers are sitting just off the pace, but they will see this game as a real opportunity to close the game and a half gap between themselves and the Denver Nuggets for that final spot.

Boston Celtics at Golden State Warriors – Wednesday

There is an increasing number of NBA fans out there who believe that this might well be a preview of the NBA Finals. The Warriors are in their usual spot at the top of the Western Conference, although they are feeling some heat from the Spurs. The Celtics are in the #2 spot in the East, and are just 3 games back of the Cavaliers. A win for either of these two could see things tighten up dramatically in the race for the conference title.

Toronto Raptors at Atlanta Hawks – Friday

The 3, 4, and 5 spots in the East have been interchangeable this season, as the teams in the chasing pack have been unable to put together any sort of sustained run. Getting into the top 4 is always important, as that means home court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs. It is the Raptors who will start the week with the coveted #4 spot, but their lead could be cut into by the Atlanta Hawks, who are right on their heels in 5th. A big game for both of these teams.
