Are the Warriors a Safe NBA Betting Pick to Win the 2018 Championship?
First and foremost, if you saw Golden State absolutely blitz San Antonio and New Orleans in five games in the first two rounds, then you know that they’ve clearly been transformed by the start of the playoffs after struggling down the stretch run of the regular season by dropping 10 of their final 17 games. Even if their success in the first two rounds of the playoffs didn’t have you quite convinced and you thought that somehow, maybe the top-seeded Houston Rockets could potentially dispatch the Dubs to reach the NBA Finals. Then that thought should have been quickly dismissed with Monday’s 119-106 road win in the opener of their Western Conference Finals against James Harden and company. The Warriors not only, led the NBA in scoring by putting up a stupendous 113.5 points per game, but they actually led the entire league across the board offensively by ranking first in field goal percentage shooting (50.3%), three-point shooting (39.1%) and free throw shooting (81.5%). While the Dubs ranked a modest 18th in points allowed (107.5 ppg), they also ranked third in field goal defense (44.7%) and 10th in three-point defense (35.7%) and this understated aspect of their play was on full display as they forced Houston to play to their weaknesses in Game 1.🗣 Words of Encouragement from Coach Kerr 🗣#DubNation #NBAPlayoffs pic.twitter.com/efJS7j2AMz

Durantula
Not only all of this, but let’s be honest. Golden State has an absolutely unstoppable player in all-star forward Kevin Durant. KD is a guy that can literally get any shot he wants whenever he wants, based on his size and ability to shoot it from distance. Want some more? Okay, let’s not forget that the Dubs have another trio of all-stars in Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green that all bring their own special skill sets to the table as well.Team Rankings
