How to Bet Warriors vs Wizards NBA Odds & Game Info

Season Series

Warriors lead 1-0. They won 144-122 on Oct. 24 in Oakland. Steph Curry had 51 points and made 11 three-pointers in just three-quarters of action. The 51 points matched his most at Oracle Arena. Kevin Durant added 30 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, and Draymond Green had 11 of his 12 assists in the first half to help two-time defending champions finish with 37.

Bradley Beal bruised his sternum early then returned late in the first half and wound up with 23 points. Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 17 points off the bench for Washington. The Wizards have dropped 10 of 12 on the Warriors’ home floor and four straight in the series overall.

Why Bet on Golden State?

The Dubs enter on an eight-game winning streak after trashing the Lakers in L.A. on Monday. Klay Thompson tied an NBA record Monday night by hitting 10 3-pointers without a miss en route to scoring 44 points. Thompson, who also tied the record for consecutive 3-pointers to start a game, missed his 11th attempted 3-pointer before exiting the game with the Warriors holding a wide lead. His effective field goal percentage of 1.100 on Monday was the best mark in a game in NBA history with a minimum of 15 field goal attempts. Thompson finished 10 of 11 from beyond the arc and 17 of 20 from the floor overall.

Kevin Durant was efficient Monday vs. the Lakers, scoring 20 points (8-of-13 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs) with six rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots, and one three-pointer in 30 minutes. Over his last five games, Durant boasts shooting splits of 54.7/50.0/80.0, and he’s averaging 25.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.2 steals per appearance.

Stephen Curry shot just 3-of-12 from the field Monday, finishing with 11 points to go along with a game-high 12 assists, five rebounds, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes. Prior to Monday, the two-time MVP had a streak of five consecutive games of 28 points or more, and over his last five outings Curry’s averaging 31.8 points, 5.6 assists and 5.4 rebounds per with shooting splits of 49.5/47.1/100.0.

DeMarcus Cousins finished Monday’s win eight points (2-of-9 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds and five assists in 21 minutes. Cousins has not experienced any soreness in his Achilles since getting back to the court.

“There’s soreness when it comes to running and getting used to game speed,” Cousins said. “My legs are fatigued after that. But as far as the Achilles, it’s nothing. It’s good. It’s strong. It’s more conditioned than any part of my body part right now.”

Golden State has won 10 of its last 11 road games, including the last seven, its longest road winning streak of the season. It is the longest road winning streak this season in the NBA. The Warriors have had a road win streak of seven or more games in six straight seasons (2013-14 – 2018-19), becoming the first team in NBA history to accomplish the feat.

Why Bet on Washington?

The Wizards won their second straight Monday, 101-87 over Detroit. Even though Blake Griffin put up a game-high 29 points, Detroit’s scoring output was the lowest by a Washington opponent this year. Washington held Detroit to 30 percent shooting in the first half and never let their lead dip below 10 points in the second. The Wizards limited the Pistons to two offensive rebounds and had seven players in double figures.

Trevor Ariza posted a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double during Monday’s easy win, adding four assists, two triples and zero turnovers across 30 minutes. The Wizards faced little resistance in the paint with Andre Drummond (concussion) unavailable, netting 22 points in the paint within the first 10 minutes of play, and Ariza did an excellent job of constantly driving to the hoop.

Warriors vs Wizards is going to be a tricky one.

Bradley Beal scored 16 points on 4-of-12 shooting Monday, to go with one rebound, four assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, three blocks, and three turnovers. Beal is averaging 24.7 points per game, the second most for an Eastern Conference guard this season.

Thomas Bryant came through with 11 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, one block and two turnovers across 26 minutes. Bryant struggled in his previous meeting with the Pistons, but with Drummond unavailable for this one, he had a much easier time getting going against Zaza Pachulia.

Golden State’s 144 points on 10/24/18 are the most points they have scored against the Wizards since 1/24/67 (146). Washington’s 122 points are the most points they’ve scored in the series since 10/25/08 (124). The last time the Wizards won the season series was 2009-10. In the past 10 seasons, the Wizards have split the series three times, won it once and lost it six times.
