College Basketball Games Of The Week (Dec 27 – Dec 31)

Written by on December 26, 2016

Christmas is officially over for another year, and while things may be slowing down in households across the country, they are about to get a little frenetic in the college basketball schedule. Yes, it’s that time of year when the schedule flip over and we enter into conference play. The easy non-conference match-ups are a thing of the past, and the teams who plan on being serious contenders this season understand that it’s time to pick up the pace. There are a lot of very good games on the NCAAB calendar this week, and we are going to take a quick look at some of the best for you to wager on.

College Basketball Best Betting Games Of The Week (Dec. 27th – Dec. 31st)

Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Wisconsin Badgers – Tuesday December 27

The Big Ten Conference gets rolling on Tuesday night, and it starts with a good one, as Rutgers head into Wisconsin to face a Wisconsin Badgers team currently ranked #14. Both teams have an 11-2 record to start the season, but the Badgers are in the top 25 due to the fact that both of their losses came versus ranked opponents. This will be the first ranked team that Rutgers has played this season, so they are looking at a serious test.

Virginia Cavaliers at Louisville Cardinals – Wednesday December 28

One of the best games on the schedule this week is an ACC match-up that sees #12 ranked Virginia go on the road to face #10 ranked Louisville. Both teams are coming in with just a single loss on the season, both of which came at the hands of ranked opponents. The Cardinals must be on a bit of a high after knocking off a ranked Kentucky Wildcats team in their last outing.

UCLA Bruins at Oregon Ducks – Wednesday December 28

The #2 ranked UCLA Bruins head into conference play with an unbeaten 13-0 record, but they will have a stern test on Wednesday when they head to Oregon to face the #20 ranked Ducks who have reeled off 9 straight wins after going 2-2 in their opening 4 games of the season. The PAC-12 looks as though it is going to be a real battle this season, so this game is crucial to both teams.

USC Trojans at Oregon Ducks – Friday December 30

What a week this is going to be for the Oregon Ducks, as they will be squaring off against a pair of ranked conference foes, both of whom just happen to be undefeated through 13 games. The good news for the Ducks is that they are at home for both games, and they can prove that they are a strong contender for the PAC-12 title if they come up with a pair of wins.

Villanova Wildcats at Creighton Bluejays – Saturday December 31

2016 will come to an end when the clock strikes midnight on Sunday morning, but we will have a ton of great NCAAB action leading up to that time, including the #1 ranked Villanova Wildcats going on the road to face the #9 ranked Creighton Bluejays. The Big East is, as always, stacked this season, and getting a leg-up on the opposition, even this early in the season, is always a good way to get conference play rolling.
