Sweet 16 Thursday Parlay Pick ATS
How much fun has it been to watch Loyola-Chicago embrace their role as this season’s Cinderella? They have taken out Miami, a win we predicted here, and then Tennessee in games decided by 2 and 1 point, respectively. Next up is Nevada, who is in as a 2 ½ point favorite. I think Loyola-Chicago will see their run end here, but I have it as another close one, so am taking them to cover. Few teams came into the tournament as hot as the Michigan Wolverines, but they are still alive thanks to a buzzer beater against Houston in the last round. The Wolverines are in as a 3-point favorite against Texas A&M in this round, and I think Michigan covers by the very slimmest of margins. If we are being fair here, Kansas State caught a bit of a break when Virginia went out in the opening round, as it gave them a much clearer path to the Sweet 16. Things are about to get tougher now, though, as they are about to go against a very hot Kentucky Wildcats team favored by 5 ½. I think this one might be closer than most folks expect, so I am taking Kansas State to cover. Florida State made it to the Sweet 16 by dumping #1 Xavier in the previous round but come into their next game as a 5 ½ point underdog against Gonzaga. While this has been a great run for the Seminoles, I think it comes to an end here, with the Bulldogs winning and covering.Sweet 16 Friday Parlay Pick ATS
The 2018 March Madness Sweet 16 gets started on Friday with #1 ranked Kansas taking on the Clemson Tigers. Kansas has not been entirely convincing in their two wins, while Clemson was totally dominant in a thumping of Auburn in the previous round. That is why I don’t see Kansas covering as a 4-point favorite. The Villanova Wildcats have looked scary good through the opening two rounds, barely breaking a sweat to get to the Sweet 16. They will come in as a 5-point favorite against West Virginia, and I believe there is some real value in that spread, as I like Villanova to win by double digits. The Duke Blue Devils are another team that has looked dominant through the opening two rounds, with their killer offense on full display. That offense will need to be good against a Syracuse D that has been very stingy to this point. While I like Duke to win, I think the 11 ½ point spread might be a little too rich. The 2018 March Madness Sweet 16 ends with a good one, as #3 Texas Tech goes against #2 Purdue on Friday night. These two look to be very evenly matched to me and the bookies agree, putting Purdue in as a 1 ½ point favorite. I like the Boilermakers to win and cover here.Last 10 NCAA Basketball Champions
