The WCC is a conference that doesn’t get much in the way of attention, and it’s usually left to Gonzaga to carry the torch. The Bulldogs are once again leading the way, but they are getting some pressure from St, Mary’s and BYU this season, which has some people starting to sit up and take notice of what’s going on in the WCC. While some of the top ranked teams are playing non-conference games this weekend, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are going against a conference foe in the form of the Pepperdine Waves. Given how Gonzaga have been blowing through their competition this season, this would appear to be a rather straightforward Saturday night for them, and the biggest question is likely to be how wide the margin of victory will be. The Bulldogs have not let up against lesser opposition, and you really need to feel as though this could be a very long night indeed for the struggling Pepperdine Waves.
