Kansas At Oklahoma State Spread, Pick & TV Info

Written by on March 3, 2017

As the season wore on, the general consensus was that Gonzaga would make it to the end with their unbeaten record intact, which would secure them the #1 ranking overall. It came as a major surprise when they did in fact lose, and while others watched in surprise, one team took advantage of that slip. The Kansas Jayhawks have been in good form all season long, but that loss by the Bulldogs opened a door that the Jayhawks gleefully barged through. They are now on the brink of finishing the season as the top ranked team in the nation, but they have a bit of a tricky game ahead of them in their final game of the season. The Jayhawks will hit the road to face an Oklahoma State team that gave them all they could handle the last time they met. This has all the makings of a very good game, and it’s one that will ultimately decide who claims the #1 spot when the season ends on Saturday night. Why bet on the Kansas Jayhawks

One thing that we do know for sure is that the Kansas Jayhawks (27-3, 15-2) will close out the season with the best record in the Big-12 Conference. They have a 3-game lead there that obviously cannot be touched, but this weekend, as well as Championship Week ahead, is all about maintaining their momentum heading into the tournament. This game will not necessarily be a walk in the park, as the Jayhawks had to fight tooth and nail to come away with the 87-80 win over the Cowboys when they met earlier this season. Kansas will not be too concerned about having to go on the road for this one, as they have put together a 9-1 record away from home this season, although they did go just 4-5-1 ATS in those games.

Why bet on the Oklahoma State Cowboys

As we head into the final game day of the college basketball season, the Oklahoma State Cowboys (20-10, 9-8) are a team still on the bubble, although the belief is that they will make it into the tournament. A loss to Iowa State earlier this week hurt, and they may end up sweating a little bit of they lose again on Saturday. The good news for the Cowboys is that their final game of the season will come on home court, where they have put together a very respectable 11-4 record this season. They played very well in their last meeting with Kansas, and may be able to spring the upset here. The Cowboys are 5-5 ATS in lined games at home this season.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

The Cowboys are sure to still be reeling after their loss earlier this week, and I think the Jayhawks will get the jump early. They will open up a lead that they will maintain throughout.
