No. 11 Louisville may not have much left to play for besides pride and a shot at the ACC title, but they’ll look to knock off No. 12 Miami and damage the Hurricanes’ March Madness seeding possibilities when they square off in a huge ACC college basketball odds clash that gets underway on Saturday live from BankUnited Center in South Beach. Now, let’s find out if the Cards can get the road win against a very good Miami team that has legitimate national championship title hopes.

How To Bet The Louisville Cardinals vs. Miami Hurricanes NCAAB Odds & TV Info

When: February 27, 2:00 PM ET Where: Bank United Center, Coral Gables, Florida TV: ESPN3 NCAAB Odds: TBA

Why Bet The Louisville Cardinals

The Cardinals have won three straight and five of their last six games overall and got past Pittsburgh 67-60 on Saturday to cash in as a 1.5-point road favorite. Junior walk-on guard David Levitch scored eight points, including the go-ahead three-pointer with 2:34 remaining, to lift the 11th-ranked Cardinals to victory. More importantly, Levitch scored all of eight of his points after the score was tied at 58-all. “He’s got the biggest (guts) of all time,” Pitino said of Levitch. “It doesn’t even phase him that this was a big game. He does this every time I put him in.” Quentin Snider scored a team-high 14 points, Damion Lee added 13 points in the win. “We just had to combat their run with a run of our own and make sure we get some stops,” Lee said. Louisville’s season come to an end on March 5 at Virginia after the school banned itself from NCAA Tournament as part of the results from their own investigation into recruiting violations. The Cardinals average 77.0 points per game while allowing just 60.8 points per contest defensively…good for seventh in the nation.

Why Bet The Miami Hurricanes

Miami has won six of seven and bounced back nicely from their humbling 96-71 blowout loss against No. 7 North Carolina on Saturday to beat No. 3 Virginia 64-61 on Monday night. Davon Reed scored a team-high 21 points and made two free throws with 3.9 seconds remaining to led the Canes to victory. “Among the captains we said we can’t feel sorry for ourselves,” Reed said. “That game hurt but it’s in the past. We needed to be the aggressors from start to finish tonight and we were. We knew what was at stake and we responded.” Miami moved into second place in the Atlantic Coast Conference after kicking off the week tied with the Cavaliers and Cardinals as far as conference records. “We got knocked down big time on Saturday and you’ve got to get back up and fight to show what you’re made of,” Miami coach Jim Larranaga said. “I thought we did that tonight against an outstanding Virginia team.”

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction

After losing at Louisville 55-53 on Feb. 21 of 2015, I genuinely believe the Miami Hurricanes are going to extract some big-time revenge by recording their first win over the Cards. I know Louisville has the better defense in this contest, but the Cards are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games while Miami has gone 11-3-1 ATS on their home floor. More importantly, I believe Hurricanes’ head coach Jim Larranaga is as good as any coach in the country and will be able to figure of Rick Pitino’s shutdown defensive schemes. The Canes have a flat-out star in guard Sheldon McClellan (15.7 ppg) and a trio of other double-digit scorers, not to mention a deep team that features nine players averaging at least 12 minutes per game. I won’t be surprised and you shouldn’t either, but Miami wins outright. My final score prediction: Miami 68 Louisville 65
