Michigan (20-11, 10-8) did not end the regular season on a particularly high note, losing 4 of their last 5, but a solid showing in the Big 10 Conference tournament turned things around. They eventually fell to Purdue, but basically booked their ticket to the First Four with a big OT win over Indiana. The Wolverines actually took out no less than 3 ranked teams in the Big 10 this season, which makes you believe that they are more than good enough to beat a Tulsa team that proved to be a little disappointing coming down the stretch. This is a team built around the guard position, as all three of their guards are double-digit scorers. They are going to have to go through those guys if they hope to get past Michigan and off for a date with the Fighting Irish.
