The Texas Tech Red Raiders are in a position to win the NCAA College Basketball National Championship because they play defense as well as any team in the nation. The Red Raiders are a lockdown squad. They allow 59 points per game, ranking third in the country. They allow their opponents to shoot 36.9% shooting from the field, that ranks second, and 29.3% from three, that ranks tenth.
