Games to Look Out for in College Basketball Odds

Kansas and West Virginia Collide

Tuesday – we see the Big 12 leaders getting together. The 10th ranked West Virginia Mountaineers are at Phog Allen Fieldhouse to take on the 6th ranked Kansas Jayhawks. Both teams are 19-4, with the Mountaineers are 8-2 in the league and the Jayhawks are 7-3 in the league. If Kansas wants to win their 12th straight Big 12; they need to win this game at home.

Big Ten Battle

Also on Tuesday, two really good Big Ten teams will get together. The 18th ranked Purdue Boilermakers are hosting the 8th ranked Michigan State Spartans. Michigan State is 20-4 and Purdue is 19-5. Both teams come into the game with 7-4 records in the Big Ten. The loser is in bad shape to come back for the conference title. Look for a great crowd at Mackey Arena in this one on Tuesday.

Wednesday College Hoops Great Games

On Wednesday – a game we are looking forward to is the Friars of Providence heading on the road to take on the Golden Eagles of Marquette. Providence is 20th in the country and 18-6 overall, 6-5 in conference play. The Golden Eagles need a resume win, and this could be it. They are 15-9 overall, and 4-7 in Big East action. The Bradley Center needs to be an advantage for the Golden Eagles on Wednesday.

Thursday We Go Back to the Big 10

On Thursday, the Iowa Hawkeyes will take their 4th ranked team on the road to Bloomington to battle the Hoosiers of Indiana. Iowa is 19-4 overall and leads the Big Ten with a 10-1 record. For Indiana, if they win, they can climb back into a tie at the top of the league. Indiana is coming off that upset loss to Penn State last weekend. Yogi Ferrell against Jarrod Uthoff should be a fun battle. These two teams are having surprisingly great seasons.

Saturday is Full of Great College Hoops

Saturday – WOW what a game between Kansas and Oklahoma. If the Jayhawks can get past West Virginia at home, this game is massive. This will be for the top spot in the Big 12. The Sooners are 20-3, and coming off their thrilling win at home over Texas. The Jayhawks are led by senior Perry Ellis, while Buddy Hield leads the Sooners, and is also a senior. This is a rematch of the 3 overtime game they played in January.

Sunday Slower But Still Fun

Finally, on Sunday, we see a Pac 12 battle between the USC Trojans and the Arizona Wildcats. Both teams are ranked inside the Top 25, USC at 23 and Arizona at 17. The Trojans are 7-3 in league play, while Arizona is 7-4. The Wildcats are seeking their 20th win of the season, and have home court advantage in this game. This is the final game of the week, expect fireworks at McKale Center.
