College Basketball Betting: Top Games to Wager On Tuesday and Wednesday ( Jan. 11th – 13th

Texas Tech Red Raiders at Baylor Bears

  • When: Tuesday, Jan. 11

15-0 Baylor is an unstoppable force. But although the Bears look like easy winners, they may not cover the spread.

Not only is Baylor 1-3 ATS in their last 4, but Texas Tech heads to Waco after their best win of the season. On Jan. 8, Tech beat Kansas 75-67. The Red Raiders have a good enough defense to hang with Baylor. The Bears win but Texas Tech covers.

NCAAM Pick: Texas Tech Red Raiders

Auburn Tigers at Alabama Crimson Tide

  • When: Tuesday, Jan. 11

14-1 Auburn has covered in 4 straight. The reason that’s significant is because Alabama has gone 1-6 against the spread in their last 7 games.

The Crimson Tide fell apart big time in their last, falling to unranked Missouri 92-86. It’s difficult seeing Bama winning this game, much less covering the spread. Auburn gets the nod.

NCAAM Pick: Auburn Tigers

Minnesota Golden Gophers at Michigan State Spartans

  • When: Wednesday, Jan. 12

While Michigan State has rolled to 8 straight victories and a 5-3 mark ATS in their last 8, the Golden Gophers have struggled.

The Gophers have lost 2 straight and have gone 3-6-1 ATS in their last 10. Also on Dec. 8, Michigan State beat Minnesota 75-67. So even though MSU is likely to face a tough spread, they should cover.

NCAAM Pick: Michigan State Spartans

Duke Blue Devils at Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Fresh off an upset loss to Miami as a -15 home favorite, the Duke Blue Devils must travel down Tobacco Road to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Wake Forest is no slouch. The Deacons have gone 13-3 SU and 9-7 ATS. Duke is almost always overplayed when they step onto the court. So consider backing Wake SU if the home team is a dog. The Deacons should cover the spread if they end up the favorite.

NCAAM Pick: Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Ohio State Buckeyes at Wisconsin Badgers

  • When: Thursday, Jan. 13

In one of the most important games of the week, 13-2 Wisconsin hosts 10-3 Ohio State. The Badgers, because this happens on their court, getS the edge.

But Ohio State has E.J. Liddell, one of the best forwards in college hoops. Liddell averages over 20 points and more than 7 boards each game. It will be difficult for Wisconsin to contain Liddell, making the Buckeyes the play against the spread.

NCAAM Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes

BYU Cougars at Gonzaga Bulldogs

  • When: Thursday, Jan. 13

Gonzaga is just 7-7 ATS this season, making them a tough team to back versus any opponent. With that being written, the Zags are 3-1 ATS in their last 4.

But BYU is 14-3 and 9-6 ATS. Don’t be surprised if the Cougars push the Bulldogs in this. BYU always plays the Zags tough. A  BYU moneyline victory wouldn’t surprise, which is why taking the points on the road dog makes sense.

NCAAM Pick: BYU Cougars
