Top College Basketball Picks of the Week – November 27th

With the 2017-18 college basketball season nearing the completion of its first month of action, collegiate hoops bettors need to know which games this coming week are looking attractive from both, an entertainment – and betting perspective! 2018 MENS NCAAB CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS TO WIN

No. 16 Baylor (5-0) at No. 21 Xavier (5-1)

Baylor is on fire, having won all five of their games so far this season while recording very impressive wins over Wisconsin and Creighton in their last two games to win the Hall of Fame Classic title in Kansas City. Xavier lost to Arizona State 102-86 on Saturday to snap their five-game winning streak, but this matchup looks like a lively affair just waiting to happen. Xavier is averaging a stunning 91.2 points per game, but Baylor is getting it done at the other end of the floor by holding their opponents to just 59.4 points per contest! The Bears are also a stupendous 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 road games, be sure to include them in your College Basketball picks of the week.

It really doesn’t matter that Penn (5-3) is an Ivy League school with no chance of beating mighty, fourth-ranked Villanova (6-0) on Wednesday night. What really matters is that this all-Philly matchup is one of the game’s most legendary pairings. The Big 5 (look it up) and northeast-based hoops fans will be treated to a raucous affair, even if Jay Wright’s title-contending Wildcats, the team that should be on your College Basketball picks, have this game well in hand by the time halftime rolls around.

Unranked Michigan is off to a fine, 5-1 start while 13th-ranked North Carolina is looking like a team that can play with anyone, despite their modest national ranking. The Wolverines are shutting down the opposition by allowing just 60.1 points per game to rank 21st in points allowed nationally. Still, right now, I’m thinking the Tar Heels are a virtual lock to win this one at home, seeing as how they’re putting up a stellar 84.8 points per game (45th) and have at least two sure-fire NBA performers in Luke Maye and Theo Pinson and arguably the smartest point guard in all of college hoops in Joel Berry II, who also happens to be an NBA prospect! Then again, the Heels did fall at Mississippi State on Sunday night while getting held to a mind-boggling 45 points, so I guess you just never know!

No. 5 Notre Dame at No. 3 Michigan State

Notre Dame (6-0) beat the hell out of LSU 92-53 before squeaking past No. 8 Wichita State 67-66 last Wednesday to win the Maui Invitational. However, No. 3 Michigan State (5-1) blitzed No. 13 North Carolina on Sunday night to win the PK80 title in a huge national affair. Michigan State has size, star power, starting with All-American Miles Bridges and a ton of talent, but Notre Dame has made a habit out of beating teams you’d never think they could while being a perennial resident in the national top 20 under head coach Mike Brey. Make no mistake about it, this one is going to be a thriller.
