Updated 2016 NCAAB March Madness Odds

Written by on February 22, 2016

We have arrived the last week of regular season NCAA Basketball for several of the smaller conferences. Each week there is a new landscape to the college basketball season. Let’s take a look at the updated NCAA Basketball Odds Spread from MyBookie.ag and Power Rankings for the final week in February.

How are the 2016 NCAAB Odds Going

Jayhawks and Spartans Favorites

The Kansas Jayhawks and Michigan State Spartans come in as the two favorites to win the National Championship. The Kansas Jayhawks, who have a two game lead at the top of the Big 12 Conference are listed at +700, while the Spartans of Michigan State are also +700. Michigan State is out of the Big 10, while they will not win the conference title, they appear to be poised to make another long March run.

Sooners and Tar Heels Have a Shot

Coming in next for the Odds are the Oklahoma Sooners and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Oklahoma is coming off a couple losses last week that dropped them a bit, but overall, they are still dangerous. The Sooners can really shoot the basketball. For North Carolina, they lost to Duke, but came back with a blowout win over Miami. Both Oklahoma and North Carolina are listed at +800 to win the national championship.

#1 Not the Favorite?

The next team on the list is ranked at the top of the Associated Press poll. The Villanova Wildcats are fifth on this list, and are +900 to win the national championship. Villanova appears to be in great shape for a #1 seed in the tournament, and are likely going to win the Big East title. The Wildcats are another solid shooting team, which could be good or bad in the postseason.

Best of the Rest

Following them, both the Iowa Hawkeyes out of the Big Ten, and the Kentucky Wildcats are listed at +1000. Iowa is in a big time fight with Indiana for the Big Ten lead. The Hawkeyes have been one of the most surprising teams in college basketball this season. Also at +1000 are the Wildcats of Kentucky, who just came away with an overtime loss over the weekend to Texas A&M. The Wildcats have been there done that when it comes to March Madness success. The final two teams to discuss are the Maryland Terrapins and the Virginia Cavaliers. Both are listed at +1200. The Terrapins are out of the Big Ten, and have been extremely up and down. The Virginia Cavaliers are one of the best defensive teams in all of the country, and they are fighting for an Atlantic Coast Conference title. There is a look at the updated NCAA Basketball odds from MyBookie.ag, heading into the final week of February. Starting next week, conference tournaments will be going on. Best of luck, and enjoy the NCAA tournament!
