We are now at the stage of the college basketball season where we can seriously start to talk about the potential winners of the National Championship. It can be argued that there is not really one clear cut favorite that everyone is gunning for, as there are several teams that have a legitimate shot of taking the title. If you look at the standing based on the conferences, you would have to say that there is a real chance that a team from the Pac-12 could be among the top guns. There are at least 3 teams in there with a fighting chance, and the UCLA Bruins need to be included in that mix. They currently hold the #3 ranking in the nation, yet ae just 3rd in conference play right now. They are not going to run down the top spot, but they have a chance to close out the regular season strong with a couple of games that they should win.
