Here is a look at what every bettor needs to know about the March Madness online predictions.

2016 March Madness Facts Bettors Need To Know

Should be One of the Toughest Fields Ever

While the teams are not set for this year’s tournament, many that are experts in the game, say this will be the toughest season to predict the tournament. As a bettor, maybe this is good, maybe this is bad. Maybe you can strike rich with a little luck. If you are a long time bettor, this season may frustrate you, because there may be a dozen teams that are capable of winning the whole thing.

Seeding Will Be Meaningless This Year

Seeding will not matter much. Really, seedings will not matter much. Unlike football, all games are on neutral courts, so home court advantage is not a thing. There is not going to be a huge difference between a 2 seed and a 3 seed. In fact, there likely is not going to be a huge difference between a 3 seed and a 6 seed. This is a second round matchup, and no one would be surprised if the 6 came away with a win.

Three Great Weekends of Basketball

There are three good weekends of basketball. The first and second round is ridiculous. Pretty much games non stop for four days. The games start on Thursday and run until the end of Sunday night. It’s pretty much a bonanza of basketball. After that, the second weekend, we see four games Thursday and Friday night, and two games Saturday and Sunday. The final weekend is Final Four weekend, with 2 games on Saturday, and the national championship is played on the first monday of April. So March Madness ends in April. Makes sense, right?

Upsets Will Happen

There will be first round upsets, and also second round upsets. There will be a team that no one expects play into the Sweet 16. This happens every year. It may be a 12 seed, but it could be a 7-8 seed. As a bettor, it’s your job to predict which team is going to do that. If you can do that, you will win money. Good luck finding that team, especially in 2016. Finally, you have heard this every year. A 16 seed has never, ever, ever beat a 1 seed in the tournament. Is this the year? Likely not, but that’s another way to get rich fast. Or lose your money. Enjoy the NCAA Tournament, as they call it March Madness. It’s bound to make you mad at times, but also a great time to be a sports fan. Enjoy!
