Which NCAAB Teams to Bet on the Over
Richmond 12-5 (70.6%)
When you average 79.3 points per game and give up almost that much defensively, (75.6 ppg) it’s easy to see why the Spiders are one of the best Over plays in the nation. The Over is 2-0 in Richmond’s last twp games and 4-2 over their last six.
North Carolina 14-8 (63.6%)
The Heels average a whopping 84.9 points per game (8th) and limit the opposition to 70.3 points per contest defensively. Despite their 14 Overs this season, Carolina is just 1-4 O/U over their last five games.
Virginia Tech 10-6-1 (62.5%)
The Hokies average 76.0 points per game and give up 73.5 points per night. Virginia Tech is 5-2 O/U over their last seven games.
The Sooners average a stellar 85.8 points per game (fourth) and have a superstar in Buddy Hield that puts up an impressive 25.8 points per contest – and that’s the main reason the Sooners are a consistent Over team.
The Bluejays average an impressive 80.7 points per game while giving up 73.5 points per contest defensively. Be careful though, Creighton is 2-6 O/U over its last eight games.
Marquette (13-8-1), Providence (13-9) and Xavier (13-8-1) have also been consistent over teams in the Big East.
The Cornhuskers have scored 74 points or more five times in their last seven games while giving up 77 points or more in four of their last eight games, including 81 or more in each of their last two games.
Michigan (14-7), Minnesota (13-8) and (Rutgers 12-7) have all played Over the total in at least 60 percent of their games this season.
The Over is 7-1 in the Owls’ last eight games, mostly because they’ve given up 78 points in each and every game along the way while allowing an identical 87 points in each of their last two games. FIU (11-6), North Texas (11-6) and Louisiana Tech (9-4-1) have all played Over their O/U Totals in at least 60 percent of their games.
Eastern Michigan 11-4
The Over is 8-2 in the Eagles’ last 10 games, mostly because they can score the ball – and be scored upon. Case in point, Eastern Michigan scored 94 points to beat Miami Ohio the last time out – after giving up 94 points in a loss to Western Michigan in their previous game.
If you don’t know by now, the Pac-12 has produced a whopping six teams that have all played Over their O/U Totals in at least 60 percent of their games this season.
Here they are along with their respective O/U records.
Oregon State (13-7)
Arizona State (15-7)
