Take the Sparty Points on Tuesday
Once Tuesday arrives, we have ourselves a massive game out of the Big Ten. The Michigan State Spartans are 20-4 overall and 7-4 in league play. They will play at the Purdue Boilermakers. The Spartans are coming off that impressive blowout win over Michigan, where Purdue lost at Maryland. This should be a tight one from start to finish, but look for the road team, the better athletic team to win this game. The bet for Michigan State +2 is the way to go.
Kansas Wins Over West Virginia
The Big 12 has a monster game as well. The Kansas Jayhawks are looking for their 12th straight conference title. If they are going to win another title, they have to beat the Mountaineers at home. A loss in this game, and they are two games back in the standings, and swept in the head to head matchup with Coach Huggins team. The Jayhawks are a slight favorite in this game, and that has to do with Phog Allen Fieldhouse. Bet the house on Kansas to make the Big 12 interesting. Take Kansas -5 over West Virginia on Tuesday night.
Bet South Carolina on Wednesday Night
The game to present on Wednesday is out of the SEC, where at the the Colonial Life Arena, the LSU Tigers will fight against the Gamecocks of South Carolina. Ben Simmons and the Tigers need a couple more signature wins to make their NCAA tournament resume look legit. Look for the Gamecocks to be ready to go at home, under the leadership of Frank Martin. South Carolina is a small favorite in this game, expect it to stay close, with South Carolina pulling it out in the end. Bet the South Carolina Gamecocks -3.5 on Wednesday night.
Indiana Takes Control of the Big Ten on Thursday
Thursday, the top of the Big Ten is up for grabs. The Iowa Hawkeyes visit the Assembly Hall in Bloomington Indiana to face the Hoosiers. The Hawkeyes are 19-4 overall and 10-1 in Big Ten play. Indiana is coming off a loss to Penn State, but sit at 19-5 overall and 9-2 in Big Ten play. The Hoosiers need to win this game to have a chance to win the regular season title. Look or Yogi Ferrell and company to score enough points to win this game at home. In a small bet, take the Indiana Hoosiers -3 over the Iowa Hawkeyes on Thursday night.
Arizona Covers Over UCLA Friday Night
Friday night is a great night for Pac-12 play. The UCLA Bruins and the Arizona Wildcats will tip it off. The Bruins have struggled all season long, and are likely to be left out of the NCAA tournament. UCLA is 13-10 overall and 4-6 in conference play. Arizona is 19-5 overall and 7-4 in conference play. Arizona seems to be the better, more athletic team in this game. The Bruins will have a tough time guarding forward Ryan Anderson, who is a double/double machine. Bet the farm on the Wildcats to blow this one wide open in the second half. Bet the Arizona Wildcats -9 over the UCLA Bruins on Friday night!
That leads to a great weekend of games. Look for more picks as the weekend approaches. Here are your College Basketball Best Bets of the Week for Monday February 8th!
