Small Conference Teams that Would Enlarge your Bankroll

The NCAA Tournament is upcoming. Every year the tournament does a great job living up to it’s name of March Madness. This year, March Madness is going to be crazy. There are always teams that are not expected to win, that win during March Madness. Let’s look at a few small conference teams that would enlarge your bankroll this March Madness and make you consider other NCAAB betting odds.

Small Conference Teams that Would Enlarge your Bankroll

Monmouth

They are 21-5 and leading the Metro Atlantic. You may know them as the team that has the crazy bench, but they also have a good team. At the beginning of the season, Monmouth beat UCLA and then later beat Notre Dame, before falling in a close one to Notre Dame. They have won 8 in a row, and made up for their only conference loss, to Manhattan. They are hoping to get to 25 regular season wins, which could be enough for the tournament. But, they are also the favorite to win their conference tournament.

Valparaiso

The Crusaders are still the best team in the Horizon Conference. Bryce Drew’s team is 22-5 on the season and 12-2 in conference play. They lead Oakland and Wright State in the division. The Crusaders lost to Oregon early in the season by just 6 points. They do not have a super resume outside of the lofty win total, but if they can get by Wright State in the Horizon Conference, they can win several NCAA tournament games led by forward Alec Peters.

Gonzaga

Doesn’t it feel like the Bulldogs could be on this list every single season. Mark Few and his team are 20-6 again and 12-2 in West Coast play. Once again, they are leading St. Mary’s in the conference standings, with BYU to follow. The Bulldogs really do not have a bad loss, as they fell to Texas A&M, Arizona and UCLA in non conference season, and their most recent loss was to a great SMU team. The Bulldogs should be an automatic bid team, and look for them to slide in under the radar during March Madness this year.

Chattanooga

The Moc are leading the Southern Conference. They are 23-4 on the season and 12-2 in conference play. Chattanooga came to Illinois early in the year and won with their non conference opening loss at Iowa State. The Southern Conference has not been great, so it will likely take winning the conference tournament to get in the dance, but this is a team that is scary come March Madness time. There is a look at several small conference teams that would help you enlarge your bankroll once March Madness arrives. As always, we never know what is going to happen once March Madness arrives, but these teams have shown the ability to win games, and done a great job doing so. Good luck this March Madness season!
