NCAA Basketball Parlay Picks for Week 7

Xavier Musketeers vs Villanova Wildcats

Our first matchup is a Big East matchup between Xavier and Villanova. Both teams are ranked this week inside the AP Top 25. Xavier has it rolling early with an 11-1 record, while Villanova is struggling to get it going with a 7-4 record.

Off to one of the best starts in program history, Xavier is 1-0 in conference play and rolling in non-conference play. Led by Nate Johnson with 13.3 points per game, the Musketeers average 77 points per game. They bring a seven-game win streak into this contest.

One of the preseason favorites, the Villanova Wildcats, are struggling coming into this game with Xavier. They are riding a two-game losing streak after losses to Baylor and Creighton.

The other two losses on the season come from UCLA and Purdue. All of Villanova’s losses are very good. Collin Gillespie leads the Wildcats in points per game with 16.2.

Look for the Wildcats to snap their losing streak tonight at home as five-point favorites.

Kansas Jayhawks vs Colorado Buffaloes

The Kansas Jayhawks travel to Colorado to take on the Buffaloes in a late-night matchup on ESPN2. Kansas, ranked seventh in the AP Top 25, is one of the higher scoring teams in the NCAA this season. Buffalo is off to a 9-3 start on the season with a tough schedule so far.

Kansas is led by senior Ochai Agbaji, the 6’5” guard from Kansas City, Missouri. Agbaji averages 22 points per game this season and is shooting 56% from the field. Christian Braun and Remy Martin also average double figures for the Jayhawks this season.

After suffering a tough, early loss to Southern Illinois, Colorado has bounced back very well and competed against top teams. With a win over Stanford but losses to UCLA and Tennessee, the Buffaloes are right in the mix of it all in mid-December. This would be a signature win for Colorado if they can knock off Kansas.

Kansas comes in at 10 point favorites, and this is a game they should cover no problem.

Bradley Braves vs Sam Houston Bearkats

This will be an interesting matchup between two teams that are not playing their best basketball at the start of the year. Two teams that are under .500 will be looking to add another win onto their schedule here in December. Bradley University out of the Missouri Valley Conference and Sam Houston of the Western Athletic Conference are ready to square off in this matchup.

The Braves are off to a rough start on the year when they lost five of their first six games. They have since rebounded with four wins in their last five games.

The Braves beat St. Joseph’s last Saturday 77-73. One thing for certain, while it may be a struggle right now for the Braves, a Brian Wardle team is always playing their best basketball in March.

Sam Houston is off to a rough start as well. They have good losses and bad losses to start the season, but only a handful of wins. At 4-7, the Bearkats are coming off a 103-53 win against Hardin-Simmon.

The Bearkats average 73 points per game on the season. They are led by Savion Flagg, a senior from Alvin, Texas.

This is a game that Bradley can win and improve upon in their season. Bradley does not have that signature win yet, but a good performance against Sam Houston can push them in the right direction.
