Who is most likely to appear in this game? We still have a few weeks before we can say for sure, but the current bowl projections have the match-up as being between the Temple Owls and the Florida International Panthers. The Boca Raton Bowl features teams from the Mid-American Conference and the American Athletic Conference, with representatives from the MAC scheduled to take place in this bowl game through 2019. What’s interesting about this bowl game is that we have never seen the same team win it twice in the three years that the Boca Raton Bowl has been played. Marshall were the winners of the first Boca Raton Bowl, followed by Toledo and Western Kentucky. If Temple does end up playing in this game later this year, it will be their second appearance. They came up as losers back in 2015 when they fell 32-17 to Toledo.
