NCAA Football Week 12 ATS Picks

NCAA Football Week 12 ATS Picks

Written by on November 13, 2018

Week 12 of the college football is a bit of a strange one in that it does not feature a lot of high-profile games. It’s almost a down week for the top teams in the game, as most are going against a much lesser opposition, giving them all time to prepare for the madness that is rivalry week next Saturday. With that in mind, we are going to focus mostly on games that do not feature the bigger teams in college football this week. We will start put by delivering 4 ATS picks that we really like for an NCAAF Betting ticket in Week 12, but we will also have SU and O/U picks coming your way, too.

NCAA Football Week 12 ATS Picks

TCU Horned Frogs at Baylor Bears (-2)

When putting together these picks, I always like to go with games that go against the trends that we usually see. This one is a perfect example, as TCU has covered in 5 of the last 6 games that they have played on the road against Baylor.

The reality, though, is that this is a team in the midst of a pretty awful skid, losing 4 of their last 5 games. They have also only covered once on the road this season. Baylor have not been much better of late, but they have an offense that is about 5 PPG better than what TCU is offering. With that in mind, I am on Baylor to win and cover.

Latest NCAA Football Week 12 Betting Trends

  • Texas Christian is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Texas Christian is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
  • Baylor is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games when playing Texas Christian
  • Baylor is 2-6 ATS in its last 8 games at home

Pittsburgh Panthers (-6) at Wake Forest Demon Deacons

It was a huge weekend for Pittsburgh last week, as they clinched the Coastal Division in the ACC, setting up a big date with the Clemson Tigers in a couple of weeks.

There is always the possibility of a letdown after a clinching win like that, but Pitt will be well aware that they will need to stay at the top of their game if they are to give the Tigers any sort of challenge in the Conference Title game. Pitt is a very healthy 7-3 ATS this season, which is much better than the 3-7 ATS record that Wake Forest is sporting. I think the Panthers continue to ride high with a win and a cover here.

Latest NCAA Football Week 12 Betting Trends

  • Pittsburgh is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Pittsburgh is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games on the road
  • Wake Forest is 3-9 ATS in its last 12 games
  • Wake Forest is 1-6 ATS in its last 7 games at home

Texas Tech Red Raiders (- 6 ½) at Kansas State Wildcats

While it is something of a consolation prize, many teams look at a bowl game as a nice reward for a tough season. The Texas Tech Red Raiders can become bowl eligible with a win this weekend, but they have a bit of a tough one on the road at the Kansas State Wildcats.

Texas Tech is one of the favorites for NCAA Football Week 12.

The Red Raiders are on a 3-game losing skid, but they are also 6-3 ATS in their last 9 games and have covered 4 times in their last 6 visits to Kansas State. I see the Wildcats having a tough time slowing down the Texas Tech offense, which is why I am on the Red Raiders to win and cover.

Latest NCAA Football Week 12 Betting Trends

  • Texas Tech is 6-3 ATS in its last 9 games
  • Texas Tech is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games when playing Kansas State
  • Kansas State is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games

Boston College Eagles (-2) at Florida State Seminoles

Over the years, the Florida State Seminoles have bossed this match-up, winning 7 of the last 10 meetings with Boston College. This is a very different year, though, as the Seminoles look very much like a team that is already starting to wave the white flag.

The Eagles have won 3 of their last 4, with the sole loss coming at the hands of the Clemson Tigers, and they have covered the spread in 4 of their last 5 games. I think that Boston College actually wins this one going away, covering the 2 points quite easily.

  • Boston College is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Boston College is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games on the road
  • Florida State is 3-7 ATS in its last 10 games
  • Florida State is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games when playing at home against Boston College
