NCAA Football Week 14 SU Picks

Written by on November 27, 2018

Week 14 of the college football season is mostly reserved for the Conference Championship Games, which means we are in for some big match-ups this coming Saturday. There are a few other games on tap, but this is certainly a less busy weekend than most, so we have fewer games than usual to choose from. This weekend is about quality rather than quantity, so let’s see if we can deliver some quality NCAAF SU Betting Picks. We will also have ATS and O/U picks coming your way today, so be sure to check those out, too.

NCAA Football Week 14 SU Picks

Oklahoma Sooners over Texas Longhorns

If you had asked college football fans to pick a Big 12 Championship match-up based on games from earlier this season, this may well have been the most requested. The last meeting in the Red River Showdown saw the Longhorns stun the Sooners in a 48-45 game that was as much fun as the score suggests.

Given the shape of the Sooners D, we may see another shootout this weekend, although I think the outcome is going to be a little different. The Sooners still have a shot at a playoff spot and a big win here would certainly help their chances.

  • Texas is 3-6 SU in its last 9 games when playing Oklahoma
  • Oklahoma is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games

Memphis Tigers over UCF Knights

I toyed with adding this one to my ATS picks for the week, but I have decided to roll the dice and take Memphis SU at some rather nice odds. These two met earlier in the season in a game that was as close to being a loss for the Knights than any other that they have played over the last 2 years.

UCF came from behind to win that one by a score of 31-20, but this weekend they are going to be without starting QB McKenzie Milton who went out last week with a brutal knee injury. I think we are in for another close on here, but I am on the Tigers to win.

  • Memphis is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games
  • Memphis is 2-4 SU in its last 6 games on the road
  • Central Florida is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
  • Central Florida is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing Memphis

Washington Huskies over Utah Utes

The Power 5 conference championship games are generally reserved for Saturday, but the Pac 12 Title Game this year is set to go on Friday night. The Utah Utes were in the enviable position of sitting waiting to see who they were going to play after clinching their division early, while the Huskies had to knock of their big rivals, the Washington State Cougars last weekend to clinch the division and move on to face Utah.

The Utes are not favorites for NCAA Football Week 14.

The Huskies were brilliant on the defensive side of the football last week against a very good Cougars offense and I think they will be able to shut down the Utes on their way to the win.

Fresno State Bulldogs over Boise State Broncos

It is incredibly tough to beat the same team twice in a single season, but that is exactly what they Boise State Broncos are going to need to do to repeat as the Mountain West Conference Champions. These two last hooked up in early November, with the Broncos coming out on top in a 24-17 game.

This one will be played on the blue turf in Boise, giving the Broncos the definite edge here, yet I am going to go the route of the underdog for this one. The stats show little to suggest that the Bulldogs can win in that stadium, so let’s just call this one a hunch play.
