2019 College Football Week 15 Over/Under Betting Picks

Written by on December 4, 2019

With the calendar now flipped over into the month of December, we are just a matter of a couple of weeks away from the stat of bowl season in college football. There is some business to attend to be fore we get there, though, as Week 15 of the college football season is the one that is reserved for the Conference Championship Games. Things will get started on Friday night in the PAC-12, but all the rest will come on Saturday, with the action starting at noon and going on unabated for the next 12 hours or so.

There are not as many games as usual to wager on on the NCAAF Betting action, but the games that we do have are all great. We have already made our SU and ATS picks for Saturday, so now let’s turn our attention to the point total.

2019 College Football Week 15 Over/Under Picks

Utah Utes versus Oregon Ducks (OVER 47)

As mentioned earlier, we get the ball rolling on Friday night, with the PAC-12 Championship Game, featuring the Utah Utes and the Oregon Ducks. While it’s still a bit of a longshot, the Utes do have a shot at getting into the playoffs with a win over the Ducks.

This has the potential to be one of the more entertaining games this weekend, with both teams averaging a touch over 35 PPG this season. I expect both teams to come out and really for it, especially since Utah still has an outside shot at a playoff berth. 6 of the last 7 meetings between these two have gone OVER, so let’s go for more of the same.

College Football Week 15 Betting Trends

  • The total has gone UNDER in 12 of Oregon’s last 16 games on the road
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Utah’s last 6 games played on a Friday

Baylor Bears versus Oklahoma Sooners in College Football Week 15 (OVER 63)

These two already met earlier this season in a great game that saw the Sooners come from 28-3 down to win 34-31. It is perhaps that game that has the bookies putting the point total for this one so high, but as these two have shown, it’s a total that can be eclipsed when both offenses are firing.

In the month of December, Oklahoma has made a habit of seeing their games go under, which has happened in the last 6 games they have played in that month. I think that streak get broken on Saturday, though, as I see this one going OVER.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Oklahoma’s last 6 games played in December

Georgia Bulldogs versus LSU Tigers (UNDER 54 ½)

There are a couple of reasons why I think the SEC Championship Game goes UNDER on Saturday, and it all has to do with what Georgia is bringing to the table. They gave struggled a little on the offensive side of the football over the past few weeks, so it’s tough to imagine that they are going to go toe to toe with the LSU offense.

Georgia is an underdog against LSU in College Football Week 15.

What Georgia can do is play great defense and run the football in a way that eats up the clock and keeps the Tigers offense off the field. That helps keep this one UNDER.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Georgia’s last 7 games played on a Saturday
  • The total has gone OVER in 7 of Louisiana State’s last 8 games against Georgia

Hawaii Rainbow Warriors versus Boise State Broncos in College Football Week 15 (OVER 64 ½)

This is one where the Boise State Broncos look like a very good pick both SU and ATS, but we are going to focus on the point total here.

Over their last 10 meetings with Hawaii, Boise State has averaged 45 PPG. Hawaii are no slouches on the offensive side of the football either, though, and have seen 7 of their last 9 games away from home go OVER the point total. In head to head meetings, 4 of the last 6 games between these two have also gone OVER. It looks like a pretty straightforward bet to me.

  • The total has gone OVER in 7 of Hawaii’s last 9 games on the road
  • The total has gone OVER in 6 of Boise State’s last 9 games played on a Saturday
