Thanks to the five bold college football online betting predictions that you’re about to get, you’re going to have a great idea of what to expect from several AACC title contenders over the course of the coming season. Okay, let’s get started.

Here’s a Closer Look At The College Football 5 Bold Expert Picks For ACC

North Carolina to Repeat as Coastal Champs!

The North Carolina Tar Heels went 11-3 last season to win the Coastal Division and they’re my pick to repeat despite the fact that no team has reached the conference title game in consecutive seasons since Virginia Tech did so in 2010 and 2011. Head coach Larry Fedora has found a nice replacement for graduated dual-threat signal-caller Marquise Williams in Mitch Trubisky and the Heels have both, four returning starters on the offensive line and an elite running back in Elijah Hood. The defense features two lockdown cornerbacks in M.J. Stewart and Des Lawrence and should be better in the second year under defensive coordinator Gene Chizik.

Florida State Loses to Clemson!

While national championship runner-up Clemson is the preseason No. 2 and returns gifted quarterback Deshaun Watson, some football experts have Florida State winning both, their October 29th matchup and the ACC Championship. Unfortunately for the Seminoles, I don’t see either happening. The Seminoles may have as much – if not more – talent on their roster as Clemson, but what they don’t have is an elite quarterback like the incomparable Watson. I know Florida State does have a talented young signal-caller in redshirt freshman Deondre Francois and one of the best running backs in the country in Dalvin Cook, but Clemson has the edge in experience and a chip the size of the Eiffel Tower on their collective shoulders after falling just short of winning the national championship last season.

Just-In…Virginia Tech Wins Nine!

Virginia Tech went 7-6 in beloved coach Frank Beamer’s final season year ago, but I think it’s quite possible the Hokies could record nine wins in 2016 under new, offensive-minded head coach Justin Fuente. Virginia Tech has a very manageable schedule and plays just three nationally-ranked preseason teams during the regular season (Tennessee, North Carolina and Notre Dame). Nine wins in a dozen games sounds about right if the Hokies get competent play at quarterback in 2016.

Louisville on Sleeper Alert!

You may not like Bobby Petrino very much, hell…no one does, but don’t let that fact deter you from seeing his Louisville Cardinals team for what they really re – one of the top sleeper teams in the country! Sure, Louisville may not be quite ready to take down the likes of Clemson and Florid State, but the Cardinals do have talent and Petrino can coach with anyone, no matter what you think about him. The Cardinals closed out their 2015 campaign by winning six out of their last seven games and returns whopping 16 starters this year, including gifted quarterback Lamar Jackson. Louisville has plenty of talent and could upset the entire apple cart if Clemson or Florida State falters.

Clemson Runs the Table!

Not only will Clemson win the ACC title in 2016, but I like them to do so by running the table! The Tigers open with an interesting matchup against previously elite Auburn and host Louisville a month later before visiting Florida State in their toughest game of the season in Week 8. Can the Tigers run the table for the second straight season? I say, ‘Yes’!
