Kansas State Wildcats at Stanford Cardinal (-16.5) The Stanford Cardinal may have the nation’s best all-around player in gifted running back Christian McCaffery, but they will have a new starting quarterback and will be going up against a Bill Snyder-led K-State team that has gone 7-3 ATS in its last 10 games as an underdog of at least eight points.

Western Michigan Broncos at Northwestern Wildcats (-5.5) Northwestern had a really solid season in going 10-3 last season and the Wildcats are the easy pick to win and cash in against a Western Michigan team that isn’t in the same class of programs as they are. Bowling Green Falcons at Ohio State Buckeyes (-26) The Buckeyes may be playing at home, but they’re not my pick to cover the huge spread against a Bowling Green team that went 10-4 SU and ATS in 2015! If you didn’t know, the Buckeyes are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games. Kent State Golden Flashes at Penn State Nittany Lions (-19) Despite the fact that Penn State lose to Temple last season and knowing the Nittany Lions lost quarterback Christian Hackenberg, I like PSU to get the huge win over an abysmal Kent State program that went 3-9 SU and ATS a year ago. Missouri Tigers at West Virginia Mountaineers (-11.5) Missouri struggled in going 5-7 last season, but the Tigers are my pick to over the spread against a West Virginia team that went 8-5 a year ago. I like the mountaineers to get the home win, but I expect the final score to be closer to a touchdown than double digits! Appalachian State Mountaineers at Tennessee Volunteers (-19.5) Not only is Tennessee coming off a very impressive 9-4 campaign in 2015, but more importantly, the Volunteers are a perfect 10- SU and bankroll-boosting 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite of at least eight points. Fresno State Bulldogs at Nebraska Cornhuskers (-29.5) Dual-threat signal-caller Tommy Frazier leads Nebraska to a huge win over a pitiful Fresno State team that was limited to just three wins a year ago.
