The Big 10 has had a team playing for a national title every year the college football playoff system has been in order. Now, 2016 should not be any different, as they are looking to win their second NCAA Football title in 3 years. Here is Big 10 College Football expert picks analysis:

Big 10 College Football Odds Analysis

Ohio State Buckeyes +160

The rivalry is on with Urban Meyer against his old buddy Coach Harbaugh over at Michigan. These two teams could be considered 1A and 1B. Gone is Ezekial Elliott, but the depth chart appear to be plenty deep enough. J.T. Barrett will start at quarterback for the Buckeyes, and former Rutgers coach Greg Schiano is in charge of the defense. The Buckeyes have all the pieces in place to make a big run. The Buckeyes start the season with two laughers, but have that week three game at Oklahoma. No matter what the outcome of that game is – the Buckeyes will need to get to the November 19th and 26th games against the Spartans and Wolverines without a Big Ten loss. The Buckeyes at +160 are okay for the Big Ten title, and worth a shot at betting them 8/1 to win the national title.

Michigan Wolverines +185

The Maize and Blue would love nothing more than to see Jim Harbaugh take over the top spot that Urban Meyer had for so many seasons. The Wolverines will be loaded on the defensive side. Last year, Michigan only allowed 20 points per game. Jake Ruddock is gone as quarterback and John O’Korn is the early leader for a replacement. Jabbrill Peppers and Jourdan Lewis anchor an incredible defense. The Wolverines are +185 to win the Big Ten title, also not a bad bet, and at 10/1 to win the national title.

Michigan State Spartans +450

Would love to be known for their ability to win big games, as opposed to the biggest rival for Michigan and Ohio State. The Spartans have plenty of big shoes to fill with Connor Cook, Aaron Burbridge, Jack Allen and Jack Conklin gone. Michigan State at +450 is a tough bet to make with both Ohio State and Michigan being in the mix. The Spartans are also listed at +28/1 to win the national title. Those are both tough bets to make, with big time question marks looming.

Iowa Hawkeyes +1000

Iowa is coming off a season where they were one of the biggest surprises of the season. Now, the bullseye will be on them a bit. Kirk Ferentz will have his team taking care of the football, and playing good defense. Quarterback C.J. Beathard returns, after throwing for just over 2,800 yards a season ago. LeShun Daniel and Akrum Wadley will be the top threats in the backfield. Love the +1000 bet to win the Big Ten, because of their high chance of getting to the title game. Iowa would be a big time longshot at +100/1 to win it all though. There is a first look and glance at the Big Ten Conference for the 2016 season.
