College football is different from professional sports in a number of ways, but the fans of the game still come into the season with huge expectations placed on the programs that they follow. This is especially true if they are coming off a season that was one of the best in school history. The Iowa Hawkeyes had a season for the ages last year, and with a number of starters coming back for the 2016 college football online betting season, the expectation was that they would simply continue where they left off. After getting through the first two weeks of the season with relative ease, the Hawkeyes were seriously derailed in Week 3 by N. Dakota State in a loss that no-one saw coming. As much as that hurts, the Hawkeyes have another game to play this weekend, heading into New Jersey to face a Rutgers team that suddenly doesn’t look like the easy win we thought it would be. The Hawkeyes head on the road as a 13-point favorite for this one.
