There is a tendency for teams to have a little bit of a letdown the week following a massive win in college football, which is perhaps why less talented teams tend to fall on the schedule immediately following a big conference match-up. The reason for doing this is two-fold in that it can also present an opportunity for a team to get back to winning ways if they were on the losing end in the big game the week prior. That is something that the Georgia Bulldogs do not have to worry about heading into their NCAAF Week 3 match-up with the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.
The Bulldogs are coming off a totally dominating win over their biggest rivals in the SEC East, the South Carolina Gamecock, and the expectation is that they will lay another beatdown this weekend against lesser competition. Georgia does not look as though they have lost a step since last season and this weekend will present another opportunity for them to flex their muscles. The Bulldogs are in as a 32.5-point favorite, with the point total set at 54 ½.
We should get to see some of those new faces this weekend as this game progresses, with QB Justin Fields, in particular, likely to get some extended playing time. The Dawgs have scored 93 points in their opening 2 games of the season and should probably have no problem adding another big chunk to that number on Saturday.

Why bet on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders?
While you have to feel some level of sympathy for the lesser teams in college football, you can take solace in knowing that the programs get a much-needed injection of cash when playing against the Power 5 teams. The Blue Raiders will be coming into this game on a bit of a high after getting their first win of the season in a 61-37 beatdown of Tennessee-Martin last weekend. While it will certainly have felt good to get the win, there have to be some concerns about conceding that many points, especially when they are about to face an offense that has been humming along quite nicely through the first 2 weeks of the season. Middle Tennessee has been very effective on 3rd down conversions through the first couple of games and can use that strength to keep drives alive and the Bulldogs offense off the field.Team Stats

Why bet on the Georgia Bulldogs?
There was a belief among some college football gurus that the Georgia Bulldogs might take a small step back this season. Yes, they made it to the National Championship last season, but they lost a ton of seniors to the NFL in the offseason, leaving lots of holes to be filled. That this team is still playing at a high level is a testament to just how good Kirby Smart has been on the recruiting trail.
