New Orleans Saints 2018 NFL Win/Loss Odds Prediction
- New Orleans Saints Win Total Odds – 9.5
Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 9, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. ET
The Saints spanked the Buccaneers 30-10 in Week 9 at home last season. Simply put, I’m predicting another similar win in this one with the Bucs playing without Jameis Winston. Win.Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 16, vs. Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m. ET
The Browns will be a lot better than they were a year ago, but they’re going to have some Hills and Valleys in 2018. Consider this Week 2 road date in the Big Easy a valley! Win. 2-0.Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 23, at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m. ET
These divison rivals split a year ago with each team winning at home and you had best believe another regular season split is coming in 2018 between these eerily identical legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Loss. 2-1.Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 30, at New York Giants, 4:25 p.m. ET
Two future Hall of Famers will be going at it when Drew and Eli take to the gridiron. Unfortunately for manning and the G-Men, the Saints are the far better team in all three phases. Win. 3-1.Week 5: Monday, Oct. 8, vs. Washington Redskins, 8:15 p.m. ET
Washington’s Jay Gruden is getting out-coached by Sean Payton and Alex Smith is getting outplayed by Drew Brees. Plus, the Skins won’t have an answer for Alvin ‘Special K’ Kamara! Win. 4-1.Week 6: Bye
Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 21, at Baltimore Ravens, 4:05 p.m. ET
Joe Flacco is awful and he wouldn’t have a Super Bowl ring without Ray Lewis. He’s also not getting a win at home in this Week 7 matchup against a Saints team with a far superior and more explosive offense. Win. 5-1.Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 28, at Minnesota Vikings, 8:20 p.m. ET
The Vikings have a powerful defense and they won’t be easy to beat, but I think the football Gods are going to give the Saints the payback they deserve for their stunning playoff loss that ended their season a year ago. Win. 6-1.Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 4, vs. Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. ET
I’m expecting a Game of the Year kind of performance in this contest. I’m going with New Orleans for the narrow win in a fantastic shootout. Win. 7-1.
