In 2023, the New York Giants are one of the league’s most intriguing franchises. NYG surprised everybody with not only a playoff trip last season but also a wild card round playoff victory.
The Giants beat Minnesota 31-24 as a +2.5 home dog. If NYG is to have success this season, it will because like in 2022 the offense gets it done.
See below for an in-depth betting analysis and NFL betting lines of the New York Giants’ offense this upcoming NFL Season.

Giants’ Offensive Changes During the Offseason
The Giants loaded up on speed in both free agency and the NFL Draft. The G-Men acquired tight-end Darren Waller from the Raiders.
Then the Giants signed Parris Campbell. Then in the draft, NYG called Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt’s name with the tenth pick in the third round.
New York Giants Quarterbacks Analysis
Quarterback Daniel Jones may not post the stats so many of peers do, but DJ gets it done. The Giants’ signal caller threw just 5 interceptions last season. He threw only 15 TD.
So Daniel didn’t push too much. If the pass wasn’t there, he tucked the ball and ran. Jones averaged 5.9 yards per carry last season.
New York Giants Offensive Line Analysis
Jones’ rushing ability hides the fact the offensive line has some problems. Most rank the Giants’ O-line twenty-seventh to thirtieth in the league.
The key is right tackle Evan Neal. If Neal improves, the G-Men could run to the right side as well as the left side where Andrew Thomas plays.
There’s also a question regarding the Giants’ interior. Center John Michael Schmitz, and guards Mark Glowinski and Ben Bredeson don’t rank highly on most offensive line lists.
New York Giants Wide Receivers Room Analysis
Darius Slayton becomes the unquestioned WR1. Slayton has the ability to catch 60 to 80 passes this season.
Parris Campbell caught 63 passes while playing with the Indianapolis Colts in 2022. The Colts were a mess of an offense. So the fact Campbell caught so many passes with bad quarterback play is a good sign.
Waller had a down season. But when he’s healthy, he’s one of the best tight ends in the league. Daboll knows Isaiah Hodges from his days in Buffalo.
New York Giants Running Backs Room Analysis
Saquon Barkley is one of the best in the NFL. Saquon’s issue has been injuries. If he stays healthy, Barkley will rush for over 1,300 yards and catch around 60.
Matt Breida is a terrific goal line back. Breida is a solid thunder type RB to Barkley’s lightning skills. Rookie Eric Gray adds depth and is a good addition to the room.
NYG Points Scored & Yards Per Game Range Prediction
The Giants averaged 333.9 yards and 21.5 points per game last season. We should expect both averages to rise in 2023.
Brian Daboll is one of the most creative play callers in the NFL. He now has the pieces to open the entire playbook. So if the offensive line comes together, the Giants will surprise.
Giants Yard Per Game Range: 334 – 344
Giants Points Scored Range: 22 – 25
QB Daniel Jones to Win NFL MVP: +5400
We shouldn’t read too much into preseason rankings calling the Giants’ offensive line one of the worst in the league.
The fact Jones averages 5.9 yards per carry means Daboll has accounted for the O-lines shortcomings. With that in mind, it’s safe to write that although improbable, Daniel Jones offers more than fair odds to win the NFL MVP.
Daboll turned Josh Allen into one of the best quarterbacks in the league. If Daboll believes Jones has the ability to lead the Giants, who are we to argue? If you think Jones takes the next step, know you’re getting overlay odds.
