Minnesota at Cincinnati -3

When: 7:30 PM ET
Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati

Both of these Super Bowl hopefuls lost just one preseason game a year ago, but I say keep it simple and bet on the Bengals and feisty backup A.J. McCarron to outplay Minnesota Vikings counterparts, Shaun Hill and Taylor Heinicke.

My Pick: Cincinnati 21 Minnesota 17

Seattle at Kansas City -3

When: 4:30 PM ET
Where: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City

Despite playing on the road, I like the Seattle Seahawks to get the outright road win as undrafted backup and former TCU star Trevone Boykin reminds everyone just how gifted of a quarterback/playmaker he is while outplaying Chiefs counterpart Aaron Murray.

My Pick: Seattle 24 Kansas City 21

Dallas at L.A. Rams -3.5

When: 8:00 PM ET
Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles

Simply put, I’m going with Los Angeles to get the big win in their home opener behind veterans Case Keenum and Nick Foles while Dallas struggles behind Kellen Moore while likely sitting starter Tony Romo against the Rams’ stupendous defensive line.

Houston at San Francisco -3

When: 7:00 PM ET
Where: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara

While I’m expecting Houston to make a big push for an extended playoff run in 2016, I like the rebuilding San Francisco 49ers to get the win behind Chip Kelly’s explosive offense and competing quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert.

My Pick: San Francisco 28 Houston 20
