2016 NFL Top Prime Time Games Of The Season

Written by on August 23, 2016

As great as it would be to wager on every single NFL game this season, it’s simply not something that is very practical. It’s more fun to wager on the games that you can actually watch, which for many people means sticking to the games in prime time. The beauty of these match-ups is that they are usually very carefully chosen to ensure that we get a good one, and there are certainly plenty of potentially great prime time games on tap for the coming season. We don’t have the space to fit them all in here, but let’s take a look at a few that jump off the page, and which should have you checking the NFL betting odds prior to kick-off.

In Depth Analysis On The 2016 NFL Top Prime Time Games Of The Season

Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos Week 1

The season kicks off on Thursday, September 8th, and the NFL schedule makers have given us a great one to get started with. It’s a repeat of last season’s Super Bowl, and the opportunity for the Carolina Panthers to spoil that party that is sure to be going on at Mile High that night. The opening game of the season is always exciting, but this takes the cake.

Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers Week 4

The Chiefs went on a ridiculous run to end the regular season last year, and while it all came to a crashing halt in the playoffs, they are considered to be one of the top dogs in the AFC this season. The Steelers are hoping to stay injury free this time around, and Week 4 is a big one for them, as it will mark the return of LeVeon Bell from suspension.

Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders Week 9

There are many fans out there who believe that we could see a changing of the guard in the AFC West this season. The Raiders finally look ready for prime time, but they are going to have to get past the Super Bowl Champions if they are to take the division crown. In Week 9 we will get to see these two go head to head, and it may very well mark the moment when the torch is passed in the West.

Seattle Seahawks at New England Patriots Week 10

These two teams may be in different conferences, but there is a rivalry brewing there that crosses those conference lines. The Seattle Seahawks must think about their dramatic Super Bowl loss to the Patriots on a daily basis, and a win in prime time may help them to slowly start erasing that awful memory.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals Week 15

The AFC North look as though it is going to be a 2-horse race once again this season, with the Steelers and the Bengals being the most likely winners. With this meeting coming so late in the season, it could well prove to be the game that decides who clinches the crown. If that’s not a reason to watch and wager, I don’t know what is.
