NFL Betting Projections for Potential NFC Conference Winners

NFC Playoff Seedings Predictions

  1. New Orleans Saints (11-2)

The Saints win any tiebreakers with the Rams because they beat Los Angeles in the head-to-head. New Orleans must win out. Right now, it seems possible. They’re at Carolina and then host the reeling Steelers before battling the Panthers again at home. The Saints should march into the playoffs with a 14-2 record and an awesome record ATS.

Full Season ATS Projection:  13-3
  1. Los Angeles Rams (11-2)

No excuses for the L.A. Rams. Even though they lost to Chicago, they most definitely should win their final 3 games:  versus Philadelphia, at Arizona, and versus San Francisco. The only team that could have beaten the Rams were the Eagles. Too bad for Philly, Carson Wentz won’t play. When it comes to covering, though, the Rams lose all 3.

Full Season ATS Projection: 5-10-1
  1. Chicago Bears (9-4)

The Bears cakewalk schedule this season gets somewhat harder in the final 3 games. It starts in Week 15 when the Windy City hosts the rival Green Bay Packers. Then, they’re at SF in Week 16 before traveling to Minnesota. There’s a chance the Bears lose 2-of-3 but the Vikings are 6-6-1. So, Minnesota would need Chicago to lose all 3 to win the division.

Full Season ATS Projection: 10-6
  1. Dallas Cowboys (8-5)

Dallas should lose 2 of their next 3, either against the Colts in Week 15, versus Tampa at home in Week 16, or on the road versus the New York Giants in Week 17. The Cowboys have been living off one of the top defenses in the NFL and a strong rushing attack.

However, Tampa Bay and Indianapolis are both great passing teams. The Colts especially should beat Dallas while the Cowboys might find it difficult to keep up with Tampa’s air attack. The Giants? NYG’s won 2 in a row and 4-of-5 heading into Week 15. Cowboys 2 losses in their next 3 are non-covers.

Full Season ATS Projection:  9-7
  1. Seattle Seahawks (8-5)

Unless the Seahawks implode, they’ll be the most feared wildcard team in this year’s NFC Playoffs. Seattle should run the table with wins over San Francisco, Kansas City, and Arizona in their last 3. Yep. They should beat the Chiefs straight up in Week 16.

Full Season ATS Projection:  11-3-2
  1. Minnesota Vikings (6-6-1)

There’s a good chance the Vikings win 2 of their last 3 games. They should beat Miami in Week 15, even though they won’t cover the spread, lose to Detroit in Week 16, and beat the Bears at home in Week 17. They’ll cover only once more…in the win over Chicago in Week 17.

Full Season ATS Projection:  7-8-1
