2018 NFL Regular Season Betting Checklist
Check the ATS Standings Do you know which teams soared against the spread a year ago and which ones floundered like a fish out of water. Better yet, go look at the ATS standings for the last two or three seasons. If you find a handful of teams that have produced two or three consecutive winning – or losing – ATS seasons – that’s a great way of getting some insight into what could lie ahead for these very same teams. On the Move! Do you know which teams made roster-improving additions like the L.A. Rams? If you’re not up on your offseason transactions, then you could fall victim to some team either getting better – or worse – because of their offseason transactions. For instance, the Miami Dolphins are going to be hard-pressed to find playmakers seeing as how they lost not one, but two Pro Bowlers (Jay Ajayi and Jarvis Landry) from the season-opening roster from a year ago. Up, Down and All Around Along with those offseason transactions, you need to identify teams that you believe are set to either improve (Cincinnati, Cleveland) or take a step backwards (Miami, Buffalo, Tennessee, Detroit) this coming season and place your wagers accordingly. Brand New, Baby!
