NFL Week 10 Over/Under Picks

NFL Week 10 Over/Under Picks

Written by on November 5, 2018

It’s hard to believe that we are already into November and now halfway through the current NFL season. We have seen more than our fair share of surprises this year, especially with many of the preseason favorites failing to live up to expectations. This has made handicapping a little tougher this season, but we are right back on the horse and ready to take a look at what NFL Week 10 betting action has to offer. We have selected 4 games that look like good point total picks, but we will also have some SU and ATS picks out to you, too.

NFL Week 10 Over/Under Picks

Carolina Panthers at Pittsburgh Steelers (OVER 50)

At the start of the season, the Steelers defense was very much looking as though it was going to be their Achilles heel. The defensive unit has improved greatly over the past few weeks, though, helping Pittsburgh reel 4 straight wins, a run where they have given up just 18 PPG. They will need to be at their best against a Carolina offense that has scored 78 points in their last 2 games. We tend to get some scoring when these two teams go head to head, with 4 of their last 5 meetings going OVER. I think we can expect more of the same here.

Latest NFL Week 10 Betting Trends

  • The total has gone OVER in 5 of Carolina’s last 7 games
  • The total has gone OVER in 5 of Pittsburgh’s last 6 games at home

Arizona Cardinals at Kansas City Chiefs (OVER 50)

We have all been watching Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs this season and waiting for the moment when he realizes that this is his first season as an NFL starter. That moment has yet to come, as he just continues to put up the sort of numbers that make fantasy football owners drool.

The Chiefs are averaging 36 PPG this season and there is a reason to believe that they could go well over that number this weekend against a rather awful Arizona Cardinals team that has seen 15 of their last 21 road games go OVER.

Latest NFL Week 10 Betting Trends

  • The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Arizona’s last 12 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Kansas City’s last 9 games at home

Buffalo Bills at New York Jets (UNDER 36 ½)

If you are looking for a game where you are going to see a ton of big splash plays on offense, you should probably look elsewhere. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a game that looks like an easy UNDER selection, then this may well be the one for you.

The Bills are huge underdogs in NFL Week 10.

These two offenses are absolutely brutal to look at, as are the numbers that they are putting up. In the last 7 games that Buffalo have played on the road, 6 of them have gone UNDER. 5 of the last 7 meetings between these two have gone the same way. They could have shaved a few more points off that total and I would still be looking at the UNDER.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Buffalo’s last 7 games
  • The total has gone OVER in 7 of NY Jets’s last 9 games at home

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (UNDER 47)

The Jaguars were a team on the brink of reaching the Super Bowl last season, but everyone agreed that they probably needed a QB change to take that next step.

The Jags decided to stick with Blake Bortles, with rumors now suggesting that they passed on the chance at getting Teddy Bridgewater, and they are now paying the price, losing 4 in a row and scoring a combined 46 points in those games. That is just not good enough and I don’t see things getting better. I think the Jags lose again this weekend, with the point total going UNDER.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Jacksonville’s last 6 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Indianapolis’s last 5 games when playing at home against Jacksonville
