We are all perhaps a little too quick to write teams off in the NFL, even when many of them still have 6 games left to play, which is still plenty of time to save a season. This is particularly true in the NFC, where the battle for playoff spots looks as though it is going to go down to the wire. 8 or 9 wins there might just be enough to clinch a Wild Card spot. Week 12 of the season is almost upon us, with a trio of games set to go on Thanksgiving Day. We have put together some Over/Under betting picks for the coming week, and we will also have SU and ATS picks coming out to you.

NFL Week 12 Over/Under Picks

Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys (OVER 41)

This is the game that could very well completely shift the momentum and standings in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys are right back in the hunt after picking up their second straight win, while the Redskins season took a hit with the loss of QB Alex Smith for the year with one of the worst injuries we have seen in quite some time.

It is the loss of Smith that may be keeping the point total on the lower end of the scale here, but this match-up has a habit of going OVER, with 4 of the last 6 games between these two in Dallas going that route. I think the 41 points is a little low, so I am taking the OVER.

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers (UNDER 47)

This is a crucial game for both of these teams, as they are both still very much alive in the race for a Wild Card spot in the NFC. With back to back losses, the Panthers are in need of a momentum shift, and a home game might be just what the doctor ordered.

They will be up against a Seahawks team that kept their playoff hopes alive with a win over Green Bay last Thursday night. The Seahawks tend to keep things tight on the road, with 4 of their last 5 trips going UNDER. On top of that, the UNDER has hit in 5 of Seattle’s last 6 visits to Carolina, so let’s go with more of the same here.

San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (UNDER 55)

The 49ers are coming into this one off a much-needed bye week, while the Buccaneers are sure to be licking their wounds after dropping their 4th game in a row. These are a pair of teams with some serious troubles this season, although the 49ers can at least point the finger at their injuries as a reason for their lack of success.

The Bucs are favorites for NFL Week 12 against the 49ers.

The Buccaneers have been awful on the defensive side of the football, although it’s tough to imagine them giving up a ton of points at home to the 49ers. 12 of the last 18 meetings between these two have gone UNDER, which is exactly what I expect again on Sunday.

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles (OVER 46)

It has been a bit of a disastrous season for the New York Giants, but they have shown some signs of life in the second half, winning back to back games ahead of this critical NFC East match-up.

The defending champions are in some serious trouble, as they now sit at 4-6. The good news for the Eagles is that they are still within reach of the division lead, although that only stays that way if they win this weekend. Each of the last 5 meetings between these two has gone OVER, so let’s make that pick again.
